I never had a Barbie doll; however, my daughter had many of them (and still does). Sheila is 50 years old now. I have a panel with eagles on it. This may be a good way to put a finish on it ( so it can be quilted). However, it will take a while to figger out what prints to use with it. I love your pets and that cute little girl. I saw a log cabin quilt top (in a magizine years ago) that was just one huge block. It was called "Say When." I tool a class where we sewed all our 2 1/2 inch strips into one long string. That class was called "The Quilt Race." It looked like you combined both methods to make your Barbie Quilt top. Almost any little girl will live that quilt. Good luck in keeping it for yourself.

You don't need a jelly roll. You just need coordinating fabric, a ruler and a rotary cutter/scissors. Just cut approximately 30 strips at 2 1/2" of the coordinating fabric and use that around your panel. You can adjust the number of strips based on how big you want your quilt. 😁 April

@@glendahargrave417 I have a qayg video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p57Zk3-Lipp_i6s. I didn't use sashing because that seems a little tedious to me and I am not a very patient person. I connected my blocks after quilting strips to batting, and then put a full backing on and straight line quilted from the front. You can see how I did the straight line quilting here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZvbh6GCqNeUl9E.
