Beautiful! Thank you for this. I sort of came up with an extra subtle touch or convincer, after sliding the thought-of card under the spread. Specifically, once I have gotten the selection underneath the spread, I would keep spreading cards over top of it, all the way to the point where they can plainly see that neither the top card nor any card close to the top is their selection. Then as I closed up the spread, and only then, I would allow the selection to slide over the rest of the way to the top of the deck.

Asad, I'm here to give you my congrats. I was looking at some of your old videos, and I believe in your first video for this channel, "the card trick that never happened", you said something like: "it's gonna be a good channel, I promise you that." You fulfilled your promise without doubts. Today you host one of the best magic youtube channels I know of, together with Vihn, who is also a great magician. Congratulations Asad, you deserve it and a lot more for sure :D

The way I like to do it is by placing the double backer inside the card case from the beginning as a prediction or simply stating we will get back to it later, then proceed to have a card chosen and signed, doing an ambitious card routine and any other effects I might like to do with a regular deck and for the kicker ending doing the double lift on top of the deck to show the prediction was their signed card the entire time.

@52kards nice video ..... Do you know by any chance where I can buy special cards such as several double backers, also double backer one face red one face blue( standard bicycle) and double facer such as ( on face queen other face 4)... In general I was sticking two cards manually to achieve this but I want to reduce the thickness of the cards... Thank you in advance

Hello Assad! I just order two black mint decks for card magic. I watched the reveal trailer video and it promised an online course that comes with the decks. I've been looking around and I couldn't find it, so can you link me because I was really excited for a premium magic course by you. Thanks!

Great specific tutorial covering all options!!!
@hudders118 жыл бұрын
Some other options - leave just one card in the box instead of putting it on the table, or just one card in your back pocket or whatever, then you have a really nice card to box or card to pocket effect if you want to avoid palming or just feel you have a fussy spectator who's gonna burn your hands. Nice idea though, will be blowing the cobwebs from the double backers I currently never use.

@halflift8 жыл бұрын
Hi, which do you recommend a beginner who has never owned a proper 'magician' deck before, the thicker black deck or thinner raspberry?
@ianchandler99938 жыл бұрын
This trick is actually structurally weak because the switch forces the card to come back to the deck. There's a ton of heat on the card at the point of the switch, which is bad. That said, the sleights are easily worth learning.
@ps90548 жыл бұрын
If you can't take the heat, better get outta the kitchen boy

Bro... I think you need to learn audience management. Trust me, if you're good at that, you could get away with almost anything. And I'm not even joking. I've swapped Decks in front of an audience's face and they didn't see.
@ianchandler99938 жыл бұрын
Levi Voltz I'm not your "bro." The point isn't about audience management--but I doubt you, or anyone else, honestly cares. Too busy praising 52Kards
@CHAP_SEC8 жыл бұрын
Wow someone is salty. Actually why would I praise 52Kards for an effect that's Super old. They didn't invent it. If I think an effect sucks I'll say it sucks. But this doesn't. I've been doing this effect for a year and a bit on an seemingly regular basis, none has had any heat on the card, like I said audience management. Control the way you're audience feels and where they look.

This cull is so tough because your tutorial shows a different use for it. I grab the card but I can't put it in the top of the deck because it stuck, I can't spread anymore because I have to go under the card I culled. Tough to explain but very frustrating

If you cut the cards, especially when it happens right after looking at almost the whole deck, it becomes obvious what you have been doing. Even culling looks pretty suspicious (because you are looking at the cards and spectator may suspect that you somehow control the card to the top, spectators aren't idiots) but cutting would work only for kids
