Here’s what you need for this quick dinner rolls recipe:
• Warm milk - ¾ cup (190 milliliters)
• Fresh yeast - 2 tsp. (8 grams) or dry yeast - 1 tsp (4 grams)
• Sugar - 1 ½ tbsp. (25 grams)
• One egg
• Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
• Bread flour - 2 ½ cups (320 grams)
• Salt - ½ tsp.
The method is super easy and fun. You just need to dissolve the yeast in the warm milk, then add the sugar, egg, and oil. Next, you add the flour and salt and mix with a fork until you have a sticky dough. Then, you knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and shiny. After that, you let the dough rise for an hour in a greased bowl, then you cut it into 15 pieces and roll them into balls. You arrange the balls on a baking pan, cover them, and let them rise for another hour. Finally, you brush them with some milk and bake them for 20 minutes at 340°F (170°C). Once they are golden and puffy, you rub them with some butter and let them cool on a rack. And voila, your dinner rolls are done!
