VERY EASY simple crochet baby sun hat tutorial - summer baby hat

This tutorial will show you how to crochet an easy baby sun hat / summer hat / floppy hat. This sun hat is a suitable project for beginners.
For size 0 - 6 months use a 4mm crochet hook
For size 6 - 12 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
For size 12 - 18 months use a 5mm crochet hook
For size 18 - 24 months use a 5.5mm crochet hook
For my baby hat I used a 4mm crochet hook and Drops Lima yarn.

Okie dokie... At the risk of sounding like the only dummy on here, I'm soooo confused 😩. Please help 🙏 At row 5 thru to row 10, it says to continue with each row/52 double crochets, however at row 10 it says I should now have a row of 56 crochets 🤔.
