this video is by far my favourite tutorial for fingerless gloves, thank you. for anyone who finds the wrist area too loose, i suggest doing 1v less row just for the length that you are going to connect together. it makes it fit better!!
@torkz103111 ай бұрын
sorry i’m a beginning med and im not sure i understand, but i think ill need to make the wrists tighter. what exactly do u mean by 1v row??
@shaniceleader25392 ай бұрын
@torkz1031 i think they just meant do one less row than you need for them to fit perfectly, that way they have to stretch a little to fit instead of being loose

Thank you for this easy tutorial! I used to be the worst at gifts, but I just made these for my friend’s birthday coming soon, and I’m so excited for her reaction!! Keep it up ☺️
@tellijelli6 ай бұрын
If you're making this and you struggle to remember to sc in the first and last stitch, add a stitch marker to each one to remind you. And if you get distracted too easily with counting the stitches every every row to remember where exactly the moss stitch begins and ends, also add stitch markers there too. In total, you'd only be using 4 markers and you'd just be moving them up as you go.
@criseastman65038 күн бұрын
If you use coated Bobby pins as stitch markers it makes it less of a pain having so many markers. Bonus they are easy to replace if you lose one😂

Hi. You say you made them for your little one. My friends girls are 8 and 10. How do you measure for those sizes? Thank you
@heidistefanou6971 Жыл бұрын
@@kathylovely1035 Hello, I started with 25 chains and measured on my daughter's hand to see if it was long enough to cover her hand and her wrist. Then for a row 8sc, 12 of the middle pattern, 4sc. I did enough rows so that when I folded it, the width covered her fingers and her palm. I hope this helps. Ps: my daughter is 6 years old.

I just finished a pair of these and I love them! Super quick and easy to make, and they look nice as well. They’re also a good way of using up scrap yarn - I didn’t even use up a single 100 g ball of yarn. But since they’re completely straight, and since your wrists are thinner than the width of your hands, they do let in a bit of air at the wrists. Maybe making them a just bit longer can prevent this though! Edit: I saw someone else in the comments recommending that you just don’t do the ribbing at the wrists for the very last row, and that should make it fit better around your wrists.
