Hi everyone. So neat of your family to allow us to come along on all of your adventures. Fun camping trips. Love sharing a campfire with you. Mama Bear, that smoke was definitely heading your way. I hate it when it does that. Here in MO, weather has been in the 50s. That's fixing to change. Our high Friday is going to be 32. Brrr. Ya'll looked like you were having a great time. Have a Blessed Christmas. Take care. Stay safe. See you on the next adventure.

That was the Cloudland Canyon campfire on your TV! I almost lost it when Ayva was pumping up the sofa! 😂 It took years off her life the last time. Log cabin fires 💯! MB, you are the most involved KZbinr I've ever seen with comments; I don't know how you do it! Don't sweat it on trail. Our comments are unconditional support.😊 Shoutout to Jadyn! She's very good with Salem; obviously in complete control. 👍 Thank you ladies for the wonderful camp. 🏕

Yes!! You nailed it! I love that screensaver. It brings me right back to Cloudland. Hahaha!! Ayva is sooooo funny! Seriously, she’s so quick witted and always has us laughing. Easily one of the funniest people I know. I wish I could feature her humor more, but sometimes it’s next level and ya know…I have to edit well. 😂 It’s such a privilege to share our adventures with you all. We are so genuinely grateful for you guys!! We’ll do our best once we get on trail again. Maybe we will do a live once a month or something. And thank you for Jadyn’s shout out! She is such a wonderful handler, just like her daddy. She is the dog whisperer. 🐾💙

I think I’m have a personal problem-WAITING for y’all to START YOUR AT HIKE!! I cannot wait! I don’t want time to rush cause time goes fast enuf as it is. But just saying-I’m so excited for you two to begin. Watch’n that PowerHouse Lil’Bear navigate her foot steps on the AT. She is so strong on trail! I learn a lot from the both of you. But I do not doubt other viewers are thinking likewise. Praying that Jesus keeps your family safe and you all have a precious Christmas and Grand 2025 New Year’s Day!!

Aww, wow! Thank you so much! Your kind words, prayers, and support mean the world to us. We know what you mean about looking forward to the AT. We’re sooo excited, but also very much enjoying our family time….cause, well, you know….missing them was what brought us home early this year. 😂 But yes, time is flying and soon we’ll be back hiking our beloved AT! 2025 is going to be a very special year. God bless you and Merry Christmas! 💙☀️🙏🏼
@EddieJoe552 күн бұрын
@ I believe with much expectation that our Lord is going to use you two in unimaginable and AWESOME ways in the lives of other hikers! I know you will miss them so very much! But as you well know from the ‘24 hike, you received a wealth of knowledge and experience about the AT-Trail AND people-oh my, the PEOPLE!! Of course I wasn’t there, but I am certain Little Bear was educated in so many unforgettable ways. I see it like this when we are separated from those we love-time moves at the same pace whether we have them near or far, and when we unify again the time seems to have pass to quickly. Like the Bible speaks of how a mother forgets the pain upon delivering her child. The pain of being separated vanishes because you’re all reunited. But the time and miles on the AT is so priceless, especially having Lil’Bear to share in the experiences you’ll be blessed with. Sis, I don’t know if you do this, and if not I request you begin; before you both bed down every night that you both hold hands and pray aloud, but privately in the tent. I would have to believe you do this already, but please do so even if you are dead tired and it feels like your mind has left your head. Absolutely nothing is better than “Prayer”-and praying together can put how many to flight? I’ll be praying for y’all’s safety and success!! And that lil ol “missing them” thang won’t deter you two from climbing Ma-K! Keep God first in EVERYTHING! I’ll be watching and cheering you on, and i guarantee ya the Lord is observing from Heaven. (Gramps in Arkansas!)

Hi there! Thank you for being here and sharing our adventures. The Silver Springs glass bottom boat is so iconic! My husband and I went last time we camped there. And I think the kids and I did last year, too. I still remember taking a ride on it when I was on an elementary school field trip as a young girl. Such a cool place! We’re so happy you’ll join us on the AT again next year. It’s going to be a great year. God bless! Love and light to you.

Morning coffee and building up the fire before everyone else is up is always my favorite part of a campout too. There’s just something about the quiet, like the calm before the storm, especially if it's a group of kids 😂 Don't worry about not replying to comments when you're on trail. I think we all understand that you don't have energy at the end of a day for that, and especially this next time around when you'll probably have a lot more subs and it might be tough to keep up even on a less active day.

Well hello again! 😊 What a cool video as always ! The pov cams were really great 👍 I thought that was Kyra? So that's Salem. Beautiful! Thanks for what your said about the online tramily , I do like the interaction, that you do with your viewers. There has been alot of other people that i followed a couple of years ago on there AT thru hike , and I tried to interact with them but to no avail, lol I do understand though how hard it must be to do that after a long day of hiking . I dint think I could summon up the strength to do it at all ! Lol 😅 but that's why I like watching your channel the most is because you respond and take the time to read the comments, and actually give thought into what was posted and you seem to really care , and I belive you really do . Soo THANK YOU ! It's fun to watch your trips, and your excursions, and be apart of it even if it is from my recliner! Lol 😅 ohh and nice park BTW! looks like we went camping almost at the same time , cause the weather was sooo cold ! We frozen our tucas off !! HA HA 😂 but we were right by the lake at doe lake campground , soo I think the wind coming off the water had something to do with that . Well I think I've rambled too much 😅 soo , again thanks for being soo nice and thoughtful and kind . And I will check out silver springs next ! 😊 With kind regards, Grant.

Hey friend!! Thanks so much! We’re had fun with Salem! Kyra, my husband’s police dog, does often camp and hike with us, too, so I can see where you thought it was her. She’s a master tracker as well! We genuinely enjoy interacting with you all. And even though we get some hurtful and mean comments every now and then (and even more advice 🤣), it still makes reading the majority of comments and responding worth it. Yall definitely feel like friends and we feel connected to many of you. Thank you for that! It makes sharing these experiences so much more meaningful. And yes! I think we were both camping close to the same time. The weather was great! I think we have another cold front coming in soon! Next week, we’ll release the 2025 AT Thru Hiker Intro video! So excited for that project. Then, to close out 2024, we’ll have one more hiking video series! As always, thanks for being here. You are so appreciated! 💙☀️🙏🏼

Agreed! We cringe every time we see a dog on one and we have one of our dogs. I wish people knew better. Hello there Mama Bear. I was listening to the part where you try to answer everyone. And I thank you for that. But, when yall go back on the appalachian trail, people shouldn't expect you to answer. Yall will be up at the Crack of dawn, breaking down camp, and then hiking all day. Then, at the end of the day, you and Little Bear will be setting up camp. So, people 😮 should understand about you not being able to respond to people. Thank you

Hello, I live in Florida and have noticed thousands of class C and A RV's in storage phacilities collecting dust. Somehow there needs to be a connection between hikers and the RV owners to help each other. Just think of the help a retired couple in one 25' class C RV could provide to a group of, say, 3 hikers. Possibly meeting at road crossings, parking lots, parks, trailheads, stores ect. Shower, laundry, full resupply, cooked meals, a place to sleep, slack packing, clothes drying, water, ect.. The goal would be to increase hikers chances of success while creating lasting memories for both parties. The RV owners can hit a lot of key parts of the trail. Hiking if they want. The RV'S gas cost..... 100 miles hiked per week at let's say (with generator time) 15 gallons of gas = $45.00 a week. If I'm half wrong it's still under $100.00 a week. With some planning (free nite parking ect.) It's doable! This would rocket you up the trail in a more safe, healthy, enjoyable way. Your concerns or thoughts please?
@wildflowersadventuresКүн бұрын
Hi there! I think that’s a great idea if RV’ers are interested in looking for a hobby and getting connected to the AT community. I’m sure many hikers would appreciate the kindness and generosity. I could see it as a possible trail angel scenario or a mobile business! I know I’d pay for a hot meal and maybe even a shower at a random road crossing! 🤣 A few concerns: That’s a decent amount of money, time, effort, maintenance, and trust to invest though, so the RV’ers would have to be people who have a vested interest in the hiking/backpacking community, and trail, particularly on the AT. If it were a business, then, there’s even more considerations including liability, insurance, etc. I’m not sure how a connection could be made between the RV’ers and AT community though. It’s a cool avenue to explore! Thanks for sharing!!
@jamesbailey9838Күн бұрын
Tara's FKT used this exclusively! It's still considered hiking the AT. Do you consider that supported hike cheating?
