You guys sound like you got identity issues, you care about these labels waay too much. I'm "non-vegan" (another dumb box you idiots made up, I just eat all foods that are nutritious) but I'm here watching this video because I enjoy healthy foods and vegetables are a big part of that. Get a grip man this cult like behaviour is just another thing that is keeping humanity retarded. Be human.

I am making the transition to becoming vegan. My initial reason was that I wanted to support my wife. She has an autoimmune disease. She was becoming a vegan to help her with that disease. So, I wanted to support her. Maybe one to two weeks into our journey I started to notice a difference in my body. I lost 10lbs, I didn’t have as many joint pains, I slept better, I had more energy, my mind wasn't as foggy, and most importantly my wife and I got the chance to connect on a whole different level. My why has deepened over these past two weeks.

A favourite in the height of tomato season, 1 3/4" thick large Beefsteak slice on whole grain sprouted bread covered in homes and basil leafs ... and a generous sprinkling of fresh ground black pepper, and a little salt. Fried tomatoes over pasta also a treat. For winter --spaghetti sauce, soups and veggie stews made with frozen tomatoes -best preservation of all those extra tomatoes-frozen taste so fresh vs canned tomatoes. Very yum!

I used fresh onion, garlic, a bay leaf, and a pinch of cumin, cinnnamon and turmeric, salt, black pepper and one dried small hot pepper. For veggies I added mushrooms and frozen spinach. Can't wait to try it again with other variations. I also made the nut topping just like you did, but for some reason it turned out damp. Tastes great anyway. Thank you!

You kill so many innocent animals for that egg that you enjoyed for only 5 minutes. There is no need for it. Don't go vegan because of gamechangers. Go vegan for the animals. In a few years you will have a lot of health problems if you become vegan. Just to give you a basic idea why vegan can't be the answer: almost 50% of people can't convert beta carotene into Vitamin A. So basically you would kill 50% of the population just by going vegan, as plants don't contain Vitamin A. Look for Ex-Vegan videos on KZbin. Absolutely catastrophic!

@LennefalkStudios
@LennefalkStudios 3 жыл бұрын
@@Heil_Seitan definitely, but I basically don't eat rice, potatoes, bread or noodles to keep carbs down, I mostly eat vegetables, legumes fruit and protein sources like fish, chicken, eggs and meat. I think one of the most common mistakes people do is to eat way too much rice, noodles, pasta, potatoes etc which have lots of carbs but no protein. For sure cheaper, but depends on what your goals are (if you have any, which most probably don't), but just oats and eggs are cheap healthy options as well. In Hong Kong 95% of food is imported, so berries get expensive, but fruits from nearby countries are cheap, like banana and mango (that happen to have a lot more calories too though...)

Not vegan but I cant go a day without the smoothie bowl. And also once I added my fresh basil in there I was hooked. Seriously tho having access to fresh veggies is so amazing. I do eat grass fed bison for one of my meals but eating super clean and removing dairy and almost all meat products from my previous diet has helped tremendously, especially with my bodybuilding routine. Love the recipes mang, keep it up.

Hi Derek I just wanted to say thank you for being such an inspiration to me! I became Vegan at the turn of the year after watching The Game Changers and then watching your video on advice for new vegans. Since then I've built my body, learnt how to improve my diet and your channel has been a great support for me. In fact I started my own plant-based cooking channel to help others too! I can't thank you enough! 💚😊

Sean O'Gorman maybe it helps there is a company I found yesterday through no meat athlete: lovecomplement.com/products/complement-protein they also have supplements for vegan specifically. It’s an all vegan company I guess.

@@Acnologia Not for me I soak and cook mine and never had issues. Perhaps try lentils, chickpeas, seitan, tofu, tempeh as protein sources. And eat carbs like rice, couscous, pastas.

Starch is essential for satiety: www.drmcdougall.com/health/education/cpb/ .. Potatoes, , Quinoa, Kidney Beans, Brown Rice Etc... starch = satiety and energy, did the trick for me, main meal starch, rounded up with fruits and veggies. gl.
