I'm currently using the Panasonic HC X1. Basically these two are identical even though the X1 is over 2 years old. I was expecting to see 4K120p or at least FullHD 240p on this new camera... Oh wel... At least it saves me a few bucks :P

@@TelevisionCrews Better in what way, image quality, handling, its ok stating stuff like that but where is the evidence? I agree with the guy above, I also use the HC-X1 and the CX350 offered nothing new that I would use, and as for image quality it is the same camera in almost every respect and side by side footage would clearly show that!!

@@wildlifesnapper1 Well. As a user of a HC X1, i must say that the 10 bits 4:2:2 recording option and the V -Log/HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) is a HUGE difference. Something that the HC X1 must have, but not. The AG DVX200 form 2012, i think, also have this possibility, what makes me think that the fact that HC X1 does not have this is a marketing matter. Now there is another new camera, yes, very similar, but with this options...

Wow...a very very good review video! You show 50p slowed down that's done and exposed correctly and not just showing 50p as 50p. Again your showing 24 or 25fps...and the long zoom shot was not in 50p....GREAT😊. So now I have a better idea how the video camera NATURALLY looks...and it does look slightly filmic! Great vid.

it is still a 1" chip so even with current processing power, this can never be a "low light beast". whether it can work indoors with available light? well gut would suggest nah but i look forward to posted footage.

What's the aperture of the lens? I'm sure it's variable since it's like a 24.5-490mm but I don't see it listed anywhere.

If you do a lot of natural lit indoor live events the f4.5 is a pretty big hit on low light, I ended up having to stick to faster lenses & GH5's

CX350 technically speaking. More modern, more features, higher quality codecs. Streaming capabilities, stronger optics. UX180 is sort of one step below CX350.

Too bad this camera can only UHD 60p 10Bit @ 4:2:0 color space. Also the display is reflecting too much.

AG-CX350 has a HD lens on it, not the high quality 4k Lieca lens found on the DVX200 or the UX180, so while the recording capabilities are better, the image quality is inferior. FAR INFERIOR in fact people will think the CX350 is out of focus when put up along side a UX180 or DVX200

AUTO Focus in VFR (slow motion) ???? GH4, GH5 there's no focus.

AVCHD is not a codec, it is a format that uses AVC/H.264. MOV is not a codec, it is a container, that can hold pretty much anything, so saying that the camera records in MOV makes no sense except maybe hoping that FCP will at least try to ingest it. Considering that you mentioned HEVC/H.265 as one of the options, the other modes likely use AVC/H.264. Gamut (I clearly heard "t" at the end) is not the same as gamma, so it has no relation to highlight roll-off. Oh, and drop the loud annoying music.
