Quick PCB Repair Using a Microscope

Here's a quick PCB change using a microscope someone sent to me. Works pretty well. Decent quality and the image is very clear. Good lighting. It does take a bit to get used to looking at the screen instead of the board. Link: www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4RGS3LD

The image is so crisp. I use my great grandmother's jewelry magnifier and a cellphone to read difficult IC labels :(

Not sure why you’re not using solder braid to clean the pads, better to clean any solder (or sodder) off and lessen the risk of any problems.. good video though. Keep up the good work 🤙🏼🇦🇺

Good call. I didn't have any braid small enough to fit between the 0402 resistors in that line. And... in this case it didn't really matter. And... I was in a hurry.

Is it possible to add something like ft232h to old smartphone to make it work as raspberry pi.

I'm not sure. Some versions of Android allowed a USB to RS232 adapter.

Yeah. Not bad for the price (although I didn't pay for it). It actually comes with a bunch of biology stuff (slides and such).
