how long do they last in the jar before they expire? and would you have to keep it in the fridge the whole time? or pantry ok.

Great! Rather than cut the lead end off first, use it as a handle and slice right up to it with something to hang on to.

I watched this video and just made my own this afternoon. Thank you for the instructions! Oh, and I used my mandoline slicer which made quick work of slicing. I wear a chain-mail glove when I use it because I learned the hard way that those things are brutal.

this is happening! one of our gourmet restaurants use to have an appetizer that had many pickled veggies and also came with really NICE deviled eggs also. They pickled each separately because not everyone likes everything. I personally am not a beet fan so I left that off. BUT~ they used SMALLER baby veggies and left stems and little leaves on some...it was genius and so nice to look at...TY for this...The 50/50 ratio is what helped me understand the brine!

Hey jeanine . My name is Gareth and I have a new channel about being more self reliant and growing veg. I’m making a new video about growing radish for beginners. Iv used this recipe from your website myself now for a while and love it so much I would love to include it my video explaining what to do with radish when we grow too much and have a excess. With your permission of course!!!! I will obviously credit yourself and your website In the description and make some nice B-ROLL of me searching your website and recipe. Hope to hear back soon. You can revive the greens just by soaking in cold water. If you want to be extra safe you can add a cap-full of hydrogen peroxide to the soak.

@pjmayra3 жыл бұрын
What will that do?
@turrelleowens45942 жыл бұрын
@@pjmayra blanching kills the enzymes on the radishes. Blanching is only used to sterlize food before they get stored in the freezer. It's unnecessary for pickling.
