I tried some containers like these but my immersion blender didn't fit to the bottom so they were not useful for tests. I ended up using small canning jars because they're still pretty cheap and perfectly fit 100g dry glaze tests.

Yeah, that could definitely be an issue with some blenders. Mine fits with a fraction of a mm to spare, so anything larger would have a problem

I know that you've done a video on mixing by inversion blender vs not when you mix a (small) test amount of glaze and a larger production amount and the resulting differences... Controlling for that, have you observed any differences in the simple volume differences causing differences? (There are certain recipes in baking that literally turn out differently just by doubling, so I was curious if you've found something similar in the glaze realm.)

I've not noticed a difference just from mixing volume. There can be rounding issues when trying to measure really small amounts of things, but that's more of an unknown error than a consistent difference. In theory that would go away completely with more accurate and precise scales. There might also be differences in application consistency if you fit the piece and container too tightly, as there's no flow of new glaze towards the piece in the same way there would be in a bigger bucket. Often the piece will stick to the wall of the container if it comes too close!
