Loved the video... how did you get to the top of Quartzite? I've always wondered how to get up there to see the view looking down, so I have to say thank you for letting me see it! Also loved your drive into Big Bear down the dirt roads and up the old path to the Cajon! Part of that has helped when the fwy was closed! lol

Glad you've enjoyed our videos! I haven't taken the road in several years, but we accessed from the backside. We traveled west on a dirt road from the southbound exit 157 on I-15, then turned right onto Quarry Road. Then, after about 3 miles, looked for the road that heads south that climbs Quartzite. Good luck!

Hello SCLA! Thank you for the kudos. Certainly, I can rip out certain portions of this video tour and provide footage. I actually do this for different clients depending on their needs, like I have a version that doesn't include details about the airport or the industrial areas but simply shows the Victor Valley. Since KZbin doesn't allow for submission of email addresses, feel free to contact me via the contact page on my website at virtualtourswest com.

Did you know the Mojave river is the only river west of the Rockies that doesn't flow to or into a tributary leading to the ocean? And I almost drown in Silver Lakes

Actually, there are other rivers too. Close by is the Amargsa River that south flows from Nevada, past Tecopa, turns 180 degrees and ends in the middle of Death Valley (Badwater).

I have almost no interest in the subject, but the narrator is excellent, if not higher ranked in terms of his ability. Thank you.

Thank you for your comment! Have you listened to any of our other videos? Browse thru our recent videos and it would be great to see if I sound the same, as the video you commented on is almost 10 years old.
