Lol I was mad the whole time going "you have swapped elbows and wrists, that's why it's giving you an error!". Thanks for the video! very clever way of doing it if you're not that savvy in zbrush :D

i THINK your issue at 4m was that you swapped elbows and wrists. Awesome video. Thank you for the tutorial.

Good video, but i wish the tile said "how to pose in Maya for ZBrush"... as someone trying to keep everything in zbrush at the moment this was not helpful

Any tips for doing this with Blender? When I export to Zbrush I don't get the pose I created in Pose mode. Thanks for the tutorial!

Nice, I have to try this could be a very fast alternative if it rigs my character correctly. I have done my own rigs on characters so when it came to the part where you had the zigzag looking verts that you tried to average what you could do is try to smooth the skin weights. Once a character is rigged you can't edit your model or it will get screwed up. You'd edit the skin weights to fix any deformations and that looked like a smoothing problem to me. I could be wrong though it's been awhile since I've rigged. Anyways thanks for this video, I'm tired of always taking the time to do the technical rigging or multitude of tpose options in Zbrush.

did you try using Blender to make poses with rigify? I fount it much easier to make the pose you want but for some unknown reason, you cant import the model back into Zbrush with out losing your subdivisions, do you know what the problem could be?

I've been trying to do this so many times but once I hit "T-Pose Sub" it screws up my high poly mesh horribly. Idk if it has anything to do with vertex orders but my mesh has wayy too many parts for me to go piece by piece fixing the vertex orders. If anyone knows of another way to solve this it would be much appreciated.

You can scale your model 100 times to get the same scale in blender

doing this from blender i got this weird issues where the tpose mesh just completley shredded the second i imported the new one.

I did this work flow in blender and it has worked all the way up to transposing the mesh. When I import the posed obj from blender zbrush has no problem reading the new mesh but it completely shreds every sub tool. All the geometry is broken and a mess, how do I fix this?
@ChrisBurns3D3 жыл бұрын
I used Blender too and have the same issue.

I could not get it to work with Blender, but using MayaLT it worked exactly like in the video. I also had to check my ZBrush Import and Export preferences to make sure the mesh was not getting flipped. Hope it helps
@skwagskateswag3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply. MayaLT isn't free though right? Also what exactly did you check to make sure your mesh wasn't getting flipped?
@halafradrimx3 жыл бұрын
Shredded? Must be the difference in scales. I had similar issues before, it's the difference in model size.

Hello. I watched your video. Whenever I click on Transpose Master, then click TPoseMesh, it tells me "Please select a model with subtools and try again." How do I get past this?
@Kittysilvershine2 жыл бұрын
You should replace the t-pose of the transpose master you made by importing the new one into the tpose subtool made
