Thanks for this video but how do you select letters of the text that includes words? For example, I start selecting words from the right side and want to stop the selection half way inside a specific word. It doesn't allow me to do that. It automatically selects the whole word. I'm trying to figure a way for it to act like the old Word and WordPerfect that selects exactly where you start the selection and ends where I want it to stop. It seems to have so sort of smart selection to make things easier but I want to disable that, I just don't know where to find that setting. Yes, I’m in my late 50ies and grew up on Windows 95/98 where WordPerfect and MSWord made it simple to select exactly what you highlight 😊. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Thank you for all the information you share, got a question for you. I made a three page document and edited the way I wanted it to look but when I go into view without editing mode one page of the three pages has six spaces between words the other two are normal. And when I go back to editing mode their back to normal, any suggestions? this is in word document, can you make a video about it. Thank you
