Hello to all of my QuickBooks fans using the multi-currency feature in QuickBooks Online!! This QuickBooks Online training tutorial will show you how to record receiving international, overseas payments from foreign customers or clients when you have an international bank account in the currency of the customer. If their currency is not your home currency, then, you can have an account with a foreign, overseas bank account in the foreign currency and then your customers who pay you in their own currency can deposit the international funds in to your bank account with that same currency. All things we learned before will be the same. This means that you could still have an exchange gain or loss on the transactions from the daily exchange rate recorded. QuickBooks Online remembers the “unit value” of each unit of non-home currency you recorded in each transaction. I hope you will click “like” on any video that helped you and I hope you will subscribe! -Mark

It is not only the foreign account, even If we have a home account (in US) which accepts guyana dollars (for some reason)- the effect will still be the same (we will have to create a guyana dollar account though)- Right?

@@worldwidequickbooks yup, I have watched the playlist couple of times. Trying to connect the dots :). By the way, when I create a new account from chart of account- I do not get to choose the currency (there is no dropdown). The account is always created in USD. I have EUR and CAN dollar as additional currencies (muti c is enabled). Would you know why would this happen ?
