Thanks for this one, I have a mild case of MTD so relaxing the larynx while also working on my voice is a constant battle, this helps!

The involuntary muscle tension of MTD (muscle tension dysphonia) is tricky because we don't want to completely relax the singing mechanism.

Great tips. I'm a salesman and always end up with swollen chords at the end of the day. Another great video would be the steps to take to prevent it. How to build endurance so that the voice is conditioned to bear such strain without fatigue.

Great video! Can I ask why were you recommend Koo instead of Goo? Both are Stop/Plosive and since K is unvoiced and G is voiced I just wanna know the logic behind you chose unvoiced consonant rather than voiced consonatnt.

Consonants have varying levels of resistance. Think of them as SOVT exercises, like vocalizing with a straw. The G has a higher level of resistance, which can (not always) lead to more pressing at the vocal cords. The K, while unvoiced, does create resistance but it is gentler. That said, feel free to use the G as the voice warms up.

Hey you're back!!! Please react to Lara Fabian Je Suis Malade (sp?). The 1999 live performance is the bomb. Please please please? Good to see you back at it. It seems like you disappeared for a bit from the reaction scene.
