As someone with 400 games in this tank, I am in awe. I get damage, or I get spotting damage, rarely a combination of both like that. Awesome game.

There is no such hard cap on view range, only physical spotting range. * As view range is not capped binos helps to spot tanks with better camo ratings at further distances before optics.

WZ-131 and WZ-132 is a flexible tank. I always use 85mm rather than 100mm to keep the vehicle's specific power at 24.00 or more. Although to get this tank which leads to 121 is going to be a hell especially at the tier 6 LT and for those who can.'t use LT. To summarize, these chinese WZ LT is a beast in the hand of the right player, improvise and always take a trolling shot with HEAT for higher tier tank, eat their HP bit by bit which also if you're lucky, you'll deal a critical damagr to the modules. I play on SEA server with many SeaTards, so they'll underestimate my LT. If any of you is from SEA server, add my nickname, Vesperon :)

Btw, I don't really understand why people think it is so underpowered. It might not have the good armor of the T-54 ltwt. or the top speed of the RU-251 but it has a great DPM with the 85mm gun, which is only 100 DPM lower than the DPM of the RU 251. Otherwise it has a blisteringly good penetration with the 100mm gun, which is only 1mm less than the RU 251. But the best thing about this tank is it's hp/t ratio, which, on paper, might not look so great (21,39), but combined with a ground resistance of 0.5 on hard- and 0.6 on medium terrain, you get a hp/t ratio that is a bit absurd (42,78 on hard ground and 35,65 on medium ground). To conclude I have to say, that the WZ-132 is still a very capable tank, which can defeat it's light tank opponents not through superior top speed, but way superior agility. P.S. I just noticed, that the WZ-132 also has a better turn rate than the RU-251 and any other T8 light tank, which makes this a great dogfighter and scout hunter.

I did use speed governors but this thing, like a lot of the WZ series tanks goes up like a tinderbox.

3 questions: 1. If you seem to find yourself in brawling situations why use the binocs? 2. If you're doing a lot of passive scouting why not take the extra camp rating from the net? 3. What is the difference between binocs and optics, besides the sitting still part. (I could have misread the tooltip on those two.) Not harping on your selection just curious why you choose those equipment types. Great video keep it up!

440 is not the cap for view range. Theoretical view range is unlimited, but maximum spotting range (maximun distance at which a tank can be spotted) is 440m.

QB, I was once told that even if your armor is let's say in the front 60 mm, And if you were to shoot it from the most derp angle possible, Just scraping it by a little bit and you have a 190mm pen gun, It'll penetrate anyway since sloping can only -Triple- your armor value and no more.

I think he means that if you have for example 480m of view range, that extra view is not wasted, it's used to "counter" enemies camo rate. Let's say you stop at that 455m view range, and Quickybaby has 480m. Let's put you can only detect a well camouflaged TD at 250m, Quickybaby will spot it at 275m. Of course the example is not accurate but that's the idea.

Well, there is a cap :) the spotting range is capped to 455m, the view range is unlimited and depends on your vehicle and crewskills. The rendering distance (where you see the enemies on your display) is capped in the graphics settings, there you can set the "draw distance" to change it.

I personally like to use rammer, vert stab and binos because i like to use it more or less like a "hybrid" med. This lets me play like a med or scout freely.

This is sort of mathematical equation. Lets say that You have 400 wiewrange with binocs and no vents (making it 480m). And in that range strolls E-100 (0% camo on the move) when he reaches the 440 (hard cap) You will spot him. No problem here. But lets say that now its T-71 with a bit of camo skill learned on crew making it 25% camo when moving. That means you will spot him at 480 - 25% = 360m, you You had coptics it would be 440m - 25% = 330m. I hope this helps

This tank got me my best exp game to date, 2.6k BASE exp, it was when the awards where there and earned me 2 months free premium :D its a fun little machine, i prefer playing it as a brawler tough

View range is capped at 500 m however you can only spot tanks that are up to 450 m away

Try use "Removed Speed Governor" instead "Automatic Fire Extinguishers", give u extra 10% engine power. But only on second engine, on it u can use almost non-stop. About gun, I use 85mm and v.stab, and do more aggressive play when I see I can. But after 8.8 I must check if 100mm is not better.

I would never choose vents over vertical stabs on any tank, regardeless of whether I fire on the move or not. In any tank that you stop to fire the aiming circle will be much smaller to begin with with vert stabs. Even laying drive would be much preferable to vents in my book.

OR, better said, on should determine when the Jingles video was made vs. the current time. I don't think QB would want people to NOT watch Jingles, after all Jingles gives QB shout outs all the time, AND Jingles is a good teacher as well.

the best map for the wz-132 is serine cost it just works so well if u got on the k line and work the hills the attack the base over the train tracks. sand river is another good map for this tank if you use the hill to your advantage and circle tanks like the E-50m and E-75.

I wonder if maybe adding coateds might work a bit better sometimes, with your style of gameplay. As much as you're moving around, the coateds would be useful all the time, although you'd lose a bit of the passive scouting ability when you do get those chances...

Different strokes for different folks. I prefer the large guns on the Chinese mediums, but I prefer the 85mm on the WZ-132 like you do. The accuracy and DPM of the 85mm puts the 100mm to shame when you need to spew out shells to keep yourself from getting killed.

I really feel like the scout role is useless in solo randoms. The tomatoes usually don't shoot at anything that i spot (even if i spotted a column of 6 tanks) unless the enemies are spotted straight in front of them. The only decent option i think is to platoon with arties or tds.

how do you feel about coated optics? I do like to sit in a bush like you were the binos will be better, but taking a look at the match you are showing us policing the middle line, the coated optics would come into play, were the binos really doesn't do anything for you

there is a cap rate, but if you can watch more then that, the enemys must have a higher cammo rate. for example you can watch 500 instead of the cap rate of 440 you can spot them better then a tank with only 440 view

I only have a 131 but I find that the acceleration is faster with the 85mm as well as the accuracy when looking for weakspots at the front of armored tanks the 100 mm seems to make it less flexible and more like a med with no armour

yes but camo just subtracts from your view range, so if someone is in a bush, your camo is no longer 440m.

QB, do you think that after introduction of 9.3 patch this scout will suffer from power creep? I'm currently grinding WZ-131 but my biggest issue with it is it's massive counter-scouting inability vs. T71 and AMX 13 75(90) and other fast autoloaders.. The good thing about WZ-131 is that sometimes it gets only tier 8 games, and with proper and cautious play, one can have a massive game.. but what about the WZ-132?? I recon most of its games are tier 10 and after 9.3 and the introduction of these new superfast/superdeadly scouts, I have a feeling that it will suffer power creep on a great scale.. cheers

WZ-131 is about the mobility and the 85mm gun. other than that its shit. Plus the tank is quite small so you can slip through enemy lines when you are lucky and get their arty. PS! Avoid auto-loaders. They will shred you.

Well you can't spot over 445 meters. But the maximum spotting 'power' or viewrange you can have is unlimited. The better your view range, the better your spotting range, at any range. Because the cammovalue a target has will decrease the more viewrange you have. But you can never spot beyond 445m. Lets say you have unlimited viewrange, you spot anything what will enter 445m away from you, doesn't matter if they have good cammo anymore because your viewrange is unlimited.

The 132 isn't a big upgrade over the 131 and sees a lot more battle tiers 11-12 so if you like the 131 stick with it unless you are trying to get to the tier 9 medium through it. And is anyone else

They use modernized tanks of similar styles. Depleted uranium, composite armor, kevlar. etc.

I has really fun games in my WZ-131 earlier today I had a 1,365xp game non prem non double for doing 2.1 dmg and 2.4k spotting dmg with 4 kills including 2 arty!! I hear you say that there's a cap on the maximum viewrange in the game, apparently it's 440 meters. I'm not sure that is true any longer, but lets assume that it is. Wouldn't you be much better off using coated optics rather than binocs, as 400 view range + 10% = 440. With coated optics you would hit the claimed max view range, even when you are on the move, while with binocs you would only hit it after standing still for 3 seconds.
