I have been watching this video for years! In fact, since I don't make quilts as often as some, I watch it nearly every time I do a binding just to remind myself! Thanks for putting it on KZbin!

Not only is your tutorial clear, logic and so well explained, it is also one of the very few that the woman is not talking a hundred miles an hour. How refreshing to find a video where you can actually understand and think of a minute of what is being said. Thank you so very much

Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you Sherri!!! After watching & trying several videos on joining the ends of binding from different people & becoming more & more frustrated, I finally happened on your video. You explain & most importantly - ILLUSTRATE - everything so clearly and it is so easy to follow. I was finally successful with the binding on the baby quilt I was making and it looks so nice. Thank you again Sherri

I watched several other tutorials on this subject and I got so confused about which way to fit the two ends together. It was a revelation to see your tutorial. Thanks a million for making it simple, easy and perfect, Maria

Thank you for this tutorial. I have watched and tried many with limited success. When I followed your instructions today I had immediate success. Thanks also for the reminder to check the angle of the lines! It is by far the most comprehensive explanation I have come across.

This is by far the most clear video on joining binding that I have found, Thank heavens! I was getting so frustrated. Even placemats had lumpy joins, no matter how hard I tried. This is the remedy for what I see as the most intimidating part of learning to quilt. Thank you so much!

This is the best method I've seen or tried. Perfect every single time! The only adjustment I made - and this is a personal preference - is I marked 3/8" instead of 1/2" and my binding finishes more snug. Perhaps I pulled too much the first few times trying to measure & pin and stretched it a bit. Now if only I could sew it on perfectly so the front and the back always match! Thanks for sharing this :)

I'm a total novice at quilting and find the binding so difficult, I usually just 'tuck in' the two ends but it never looks neat. I tried your technique a couple of weeks ago which was a DISASTER. I tried it last week and it worked fine. Have just had my third attempt and its PEFECT. One modification I made was using my corner trimmer so I didn't have to guess the 1/4" overlap on each end. I didn't leave long enough a tail and had to unpick a few inches but was well worth the effort. I'll always use this method in the future. It looks so much more professional than the way I was doing it. I've watched so many tutorials on joining the ends but they all appear so complicated. Thanks for this 'idiot proof' method, just what I needed.

This method is amazing. I do one extra step and hand baste the ends together first to make sure my binding fits correctly and then I machine sew the ends together. Then I know I haven't twisted it or made it too loose or tight. Thanks for the great video.

This is a very clear and easy video that accomplished it's goal perfectly! I've watched others and this was the best! My only suggestion would be to make sure you have plenty of 'unsewn' ends on each side so it's easier to mark, cut and sew;
