My mother had a yellow pinto in 1976. My Dad worked for IBM and we were transferred from England to New Jersey for 2 years, I graduated high school there before we went back to England. My parents took the pinto back too, in England everyone thought it was a sports car, young men used to try and drag race the pinto until they realised my 6 year old brother was waving madly at them, very excited 😊. The new camera is great, super clear and sounds excellent. I will never be as organised as you, putting things in large bags is as far as I get. 🤣😂

OMG!!!! I am so inspired to go and try and get organized. Thank you so much for sharing your room/rooms full of fabric. I am amazed at the fact that you know where everything is. I just hunt for something that I know I have and spend half a day looking for it and then I am out of the mood to make the item!! You are such a positive person and hope your health stays well.

You are an amazing young lady! I thought I had a lot of fabric, but nothing that compares.... You also have a beautiful personality. I thank you for sharing all your organizing ideas in your sewing room. One of my sons have had to move back in with me for awhile and all fabric and sewing projects in the bedroom he is using has migrated to my sewing room. It now looks like a hoarders room and very hard to move in. However, I can access my sewing machine and ironing board....critical! You've given me so many ideas once he moves. Thank you again. Prayers for your strength and stamina.

Kudos to you for organizing to that extent and know exactly where everything is, very impressive. I would love to see you put together those old vintage blocks, they are so different, but amazing as well. Thanks for sharing your space. You differently have the passion. 👍❤️😊

Wow, Tiffany! The video quality is superb! I love how well you've organized your fabric. I've seen KZbin videos where the quilter has fabric thrown all over the place! I also keep my fabrics extremely organized, because it would drive me absolutely insane if I had fabric thrown and tossed all over my sewing room. Thank you so much for sharing this video. Tiffany, I watch you most of the time but rarely comment. I want you to know that I thoroughly enjoyed this particular video. You and I organize and label much alike....you just have tons more of everything than I have. And, the quality of picture and sound are the best I've seen and heard to date of your videos. Congratulations on that! I'm much older than you so I'm at the point where I need to downsize and prioritize the projects I want to make, the ones I want to finish, and the ones I can pass on to others as I'll never live long enough to make al the patterns and projects I want. Also have health issues to deal with too but not as painful as you. I also have trouble sleeping! I'm looking forward to your new room and re-organized current room. Best of luck to you and to Iron Man!

I feel SO much better after watching the tour of your quilt room / and how you "organize" I have been feeling overwhelmed and unorganized and realizing that I won't live long enough to use what I have (unless I live to 308 years old!) Of course, it isn't a business for me and I am older than you, just turned 62. Trying to stop buying fabric and finish some of what I have (UFO, WIP, etc.) -- not successfully BTW. I am trying to wrap my head around the "aging process" and chronic depression/anxiety while caring for my elderly parents. My life is runs mostly on guilt and people pleasing. Also want to buy a new machine and iron, but need to sell or give away some of this stuff that is stressing me. THANK YOU THANK YOU

I love this. I’m scatterbrained and never come with a plan that works.I see a few things you do that I do but your way makes more sense. I’m going to set up the sewing room which is small with your ideas fresh in my silly mind. I thought my drawers were well used but now I know better. I can’t thank you enough for showing us around. For labeling the drawers is use Sticky Note tape it is wide and easy to use and pull off for changing. At 78 years old I need to be mindful of my pain and low energy. You have given me ideas I can live with.

Dang Tiff..... you have arrived!!! I picked up more than a few cutting and storage tips which is awesome! The camera and sound is fantastic btw. Great investment. I have a huge house and little by little I am taking it over with all of my quilting stuff. What I need to do is get down to the nitty-gritty and start cutting and putting it in bins. All of the fabric I have laying around is collecting dust because it takes so much time. I really enjoyed this video. Ya I get those bins from friends and trash and yard sales for a dollar. I have more in the garage I use. I do plan to get shelf units when I finally have a second room for fabric. But still gonna do the roll around dressers (just not as many lol). The room is 11x12 so it's good size. And I like that idea for the sports fabrics.

Sound is clear and good (I’m moderately hearing impaired). Film is clear, no fuzzies, and color looks good. My oh my! And I thought I have a lot of fabric. Not even close! lol. Tour was fun. Thank you. Perhaps it’ll help me get a better handle on my semi-organized chaos. Probably not bc I also hand & machine embroider (yes, about 400+ spools of thread!), knit, crochet, weave, pottery, bag making, garment sewing, upholstery , and I help my son create soft-doors for Jeeps and off road vehicles. It’s tons of stuff to store! Now that I’m 80+-and-counting, I’m trying to downsize. It’s so hard to part with one’s treasures.

Girl I thought I had a lot of stuff...lol u are packed in there. Reminds me of my sewing room. I totally have OCD and I organize and reorganize. I don't finish projects because I'm to busy reorganizing.lol Then my 13 yr old granddaughter spent the weekend with me 2 weekends ago and she talk me into rearranging my sewing room which ended up actually being a better layout. I have so much stuff like u. Only different is I'm a tailor for 30 yrs now, but I dabble a lot in quilting. I'm running completely out of space for fabrics. My granddaughter said, here's an idea nanny, why don't u make stuff and actually finish it, then u will have room for more. I said wow! What a concept!...😂

I'm just amazed that you've only been quilting 7 years or so, according to your comments and you've acquired this big of a stash!! I'm amazed and you must work on it every day. I just couldn't imagine the cost involved because I know quilting supply costs plus material costs. The long arm itself being thousands of dollars in addition to the cost of thread. I'm flabbergasted when I buy A 4 pack of Aurafill thread and I'm out$50! Then I see you have hundreds of spools. And I doubt I could ever buy bolt after bolt of fabric. Don't take this wrong, I'm not complaining! Trust me I'm happy for you that you can acquire these things. I've just honestly never seen a stash this huge!! Lol. BTW the video quality is great on your new camera. Keep on keepin on vi truly enjoy your videos

I had stash of clothing fabric before I started quilting. Then I went to so many yard sales and estate sales and thrift stores for so much of what I have. I buy bolts from Walmart and other stores on clearance for $1 a yard. Thread I got a big bag of it years ago from a woman whose mom passed and she knew I quilted so it was gifted to me. Then some I have bought over the years. And lots of my scraps come from fans who send me scraps to make stuff with. In the beginning before YT I filled 1 side of my garage with all sorts of fabric from estate sales of quilters. I'd look in the tri state area and find many. If you know where to look it can be found. I'm a very thrifty quilter. And this large stash came from years of keeping an eye out 😊 I still have stuff in the garage, but most is outdoor fabric and odds and ends not for quilting. I've finally got it all sorted and most inside now. With the longarm, I bought that like you would a car... made payments 😄 It's paid off now. But took a long while to get there. If you keep an eye out on FB marketplace in your area and in for sale groups and thrift stores, I am sure you can build a stash pretty quick too 😉 Thanks for watching 😊

@@TiffanysQuiltingLife thanks for your reply. I have started thrifting and yard sales as well and found a few things. That’s just it. You need to know where to look. I got a bag of quilt blocks at an estate sale last month. It was enough to make a lap quilt but I was more excited about giving life to blocks that I’m sure took hours and hours of sewing to do but they never got finished. Another bag had 6” blocks sewn from strips. All finished pressed and squared up just ready to make a quilt. I paid $5 for it! Keep up the good work and thriftiness it will surely pay off.

@@Friendly946 That's a great find. I've gotten tops and blocks in thrift and garage sale free piles. People that don't quilt don't understand the treasure of this stuff. I'm glad people like us can rescue it all 😊

I have a hint for you. if you fold you fabric the width and height of your drawer, you can get more than twice as much fabric in your drawer. yes, I know it does make sense but it worked. l was really surprised when I did it. love you video"$

O.M.G. Tiffany, my kids used to give me grief about the amount of fabric l had in my whole stash. Yours is 20xs bigger than mine ever was! It is glorious! You should have a paid raffle with your viewers who would like to fly or Nevada and come shopping through your stash! Iol I’ll tell ya l would be on a plane in a minute! You could make some money from the raffle and that lucky person could be in heaven! Just a thought……

My ironing board is almost like yours. My board is a lot shorter and not as wide as yours. Maybe I'll measure it, just because. And I stopped using the ironing board with legs because I got tired of folding it up and putting it out of the way. So, I put my wood board that is covered on top of my 2 rolling carts that I got from Ikea. It works great. Storage and ironing all at the same time. And no, it doesn't roll back and forth It is very sturdy and doesn't move. It works! And now I am shopping around for a 3rd iron, just because. lol

Hi Tiffany. I’m so impressed how you remembered what was in every container and drawer of your room. I try to be organized but then forget where I placed things. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m always so inspired after watching you, you amaze me. Your expanded space sounds wonderful but with the way our overpriced economy is, you may have to wait a little longer for your son to move out; crazy times. I enjoyed this video and your strategy on how you cut your fabrics. You rock. 🥰
