YES, YES, YES, LOVE THIS ,I wanted you to use your long-arm for awhile now , ,Thank you, It looks so good,, you get better with each quilt, I have been working on mine for some time, learning as I go,,,,you can use regular white chalk and mark on your top ,and it shakes off or washes off its easy to follow along the marks,,I love the swirls and how you went around the hexies, Please show some more of your long-arming adventures ❤❤❤

Not quite as much as a car but you do have a point. Long arm quilting set ups are not for everyone.

I loved seeing you FMQ, you are really good with the ruler work too. the paisley meander is pretty dang cool, I like it too. FMQ isn't for the faint of heart. Hugs to Grace, lol.

I unfortunately found out the hard way ,that it does matter which side of the batting should be facing up. Depending on the brand of batting , mine, the bumpy side down with the dimple side up is how it shoul be in the quilt sandwich. Otherwise, you'll get bearding coming out the fabric after it is quilted.

My quilting practice quilts get sent to the animal shelter. The animals there REALLY don’t care whether my stitches are straight or evenly spaced. My last one was more stitch than fabric. 😂

I have that same frame, that tubing never worked good for me, it kept popping out. I just bought the same machine , picking it up in 3 days. Which thread and needles do you like to use? Does it fit onto the G carriage?
@aprilscraftroomАй бұрын
I'm sorry that tubing didn't work for you - I've been pleased so far. I use the Finesse thread which is the thread Grace sells. The needles came with the machine and I've just reordered from Grace - I will have to look and see the size. I'm not sure what the G carriage is. I got the Qzone Queen Frame if that helps. April
@terribishop5313Ай бұрын
@aprilscraftroom Ty so much, I have the q zone queen frame as well. I'll get some of that thread from Grace ordered.
@judypurcell9544 ай бұрын
I don't think it is as bad as u do. But one suggestion, match your thread to the fabric and it will hide those unintentional designs!

It would have been much better if you didn’t speed up the section where you were actually doing the different patterns. Can’t learn them like that. Actually defeated my purpose for watching
