Ease up. He's only 19 and trying to interview a music industry god. In light of fact that he's in the music industry and admittedly no real instrument training. It's intimidating. The interview is like a great grandfather to a grandson. Q is clearly enjoying the moment. Clearly he's imparting wisdom. How many legends bother to do this? Much love in that room.

As much as I tried to enjoy this video, I couldn't. Khalid, bro. When you ask a living icon like Quincy Jones a question. Be quiet. Let him answer fully. Then start your next question. A few times you were talking over him. The names he mentioned look them up. You have no idea who they were. Talk less listen more. That's Quincy Jones. That man revolutionized music. Without him, no you.

This was a very humbling and learning experience for Quincy, Khalid and for other people period. For a living 84-year-old legend to speak with a 19-year-old inexperience entertainer should mean a lot to anyone. To Khalid: If you keep doing what you are doing, one day you will be the 84-year-old living legend being interviewed by a young person like yourself now and you will remember what it felt like. Just as Quincy did, help the young person by not intimidating, but helping by talking about experiences, making the interviewer feel warm and easy to talk too...

"you cant play the piano? you need to learn music man, its only 12 notes"...Classic Quincy! sounds so simple

the difference between these two is so enourmous... and it has nothing to do with age. It has to do with looking for knowledge. The hunger of the art. Quincy showed how he had that hunger since he was a kid. How he wanted to hustle and then turned to music and turned that into his hustle. How ppl were afraid of them because of how much they knew, the different types of music, the knowledge of instruments, the experience of getting in the mix with huge names in music and not being afraid... That compared to this young man who just repeats himself again and again... yea yea yea...ahuh ahuh... Yeah he's young and he will learn and grow. But it's incredible to see the stark difference.

Love this interview. Especially the "cringe" moments. It made the conversation feel more real and down to earth. Hella edited interviews make it fake and you can't ready personality as much. Much love to them both
