The lyrics are sort of silly anyway - it’s all about a beautiful yellow apple given to the singer by a lovely lass, which is lost in the singer’s pocket and replaced by a seedy potato, and then the protagonist spends the rest of the song roaming Ireland from coast to coast trying to find the wondrous apple…

She was never a full member and they were paying her 500 quid a month or something, which was a Huge wage for a teenager in the early 80s. But she wanted to dictate musical direction. Have you heard her in interviews? bragging about her castle? .That is no mystic maiden, that is a child of Thatcher and the "Greed is good" 80s
