I learned weapon control on rainbow 6 siege by forcing myself to only use LMG's. When i got good at them i then switched over to SMG's and AR's and it was like a dragon ball character removing the weighted armour. Now i routinely top board almost every game and spam fire marksman rifles for CQC. Also forced me to learn how to deploy traps well too because early on it was the only way i was gonna get kills.

I agree with you about Elitism and the tackling the harder raids. I got into Destiny when I got my mother's old PS3 when the current thing in Destiny was The Taken King. I got into a group of older gentlemen who accepted me into their guild. They were extremely chill and weren't super serious about the game, but they helped me beat my first ever raid, King's Fall. A year or two later, after I got a PS4 and Rise of Iron, they got busy with IRL stuff and couldn't play for a time, i got with a different group. And a few of them were a bit of the Elitists that started to lose their patience if we couldn't clear a raid in a day. First time I did King's Fall with them, they insisted on everyone using Sleeper Simulant and nothing else for the raid. I told them that I can contribute a lot of damage with Black Spindle and Touch of Malice. And I end up being in the top 1-3 in terms of DPS for the bosses.

I agree with the learning the hard way. Titainfall 2, I could only really play after 5 pm early on due to work, so I was constantly matched with the guys you had been playing all day and were still playing, or the guys who played since hour one and never stopped. I got my but handed to me every game for three whole weeks... Then I played during the day and I was a god... That first match I earned a third of our teams score by the end of that match, had the highest number of Pilot kills, and we WON. I suddenly understood the difference between the late night crew and the daylight crew, and why I was getting my but handed to me. So, the school of hard knocks in games often is the best way for games with high technical ceilings.

The closest comparison to CS:GO i have is Splatoon. In the first two as long as you play well you can use any weapon. But in three the balance has unfortunately shifted so far to quick twitch weapons, snipers, and certain meta setups that splatfests are unfun to play and even casual modes are affected to where i don't play often. I have more fun in Pokemon Unite and Dragonball the Breakers even when i lose there. Shoot the most I feel in Pokemon unite is confusion as to how bad some people are.

This type of advice even helps with learning fighting games. I remember first learning soul caliber 5 with my friend playing a custom skinned character with the "ivy" attack pattern. They told me how hard landing grabs were. As they taught me some of the basic combos through combat, I would practice a grab here and there. Grab timing ended up being one of my go-tos and it pissed my friend off to no end XD

You mentioning YTP’s (KZbin Poops for those unfamiliar) made me remember that you’ve (as far as I can see) never reacted to mans1ay3r’s Mass Effect or Skyrim GamerPoop videos. 17:11 Brooooooo you’re making me want to re-download Titanfall 2 again! Gods that game is the peak of shooters, I love it so much, but I need this backlog gone and Titanfall 2 was eating up so much of my time. I felt like with the Kraber that’s just player choice. How are you sniping? From the very top of the map with a sidearm ready to pop any fool that tries to challenge your spot? Or are you a psychopath and leaping around every wall and building on the map snapping onto the first person you see like some players I’ve seen. And they were damned scary. Any guy who crosses the map in 5 seconds, drops you and continues wall running like nothing happened is terrifying in my book. First option wasn’t max sensitivity (or at least, wasn’t when I played, it was midway between normal and max) while those speed demons I would guess were at max sensitivity

29:28 Yes, it is in fact very neat to have. Having used a MMO moust for Looter and shooter games for the last decade, there's something nice about having all your clutch equipment available on one finger. For something like Warframe, I have my like half my gear wheel on my MMO mouse.

Honestly, those MMO mice are a LIFESAVER when it comes to fps's with me at least. it reduces so many of your keybinds for left hand, and overall really doesn't take nearly any amount of re-learning to understand and be good at, definitely something id recommend trying out. favorite feature (on mine at least) is having a button next to your pointer finger, so useful for reloading, because you can reload while doing everything you need to with your left hand, but also, moving your finger off left click isnt bad, because youll never be firing and reloading at the same time.

Whenever I play Gears 5, in multi, you should never drop the gnasher due to how meta it is, but the other two weapons, use anything you want, so you can use scorcher (flamethrower) combo, which is effective, meanwhile in horde and escape, use whatever you want, but some weapons are better than other weapons in certain scenarios, but that doesn't mean you can't do dumb shit, I like using chainsaw bayonet on the Lancer, and if a matriarch appears, I grab a scorcher due to her weakness towards it, but that doesn't mean you can't treat her like a speedy, even more pissed of and stronger hunter, that is a viable playstyle but with several drawbacks, it's high risk high reward

League of Legends is a different game at pro play... pros have full coms and NO LAG in a game that is very reaction time intensive for dodging skill shots makes it a whole different experience... just look at win/play rates for all the different MMR tiers compared to pro

I keep seeing "what is the best build for (insert any game ever)" when, in my opinion, it should be, "I want to use this weapon/mechanic. What is the best way to make that an effective way to play?" If you do that with games that you like, the game will become that much more fun. Key example is the Monster Hunter games. All these different weapons and armor combinations, and so people will gravitate toward a weapon, they find fun and will do research to make that work for them.

Talking about METAs and dumb options being usable made me think of League of Legends. There is no feeling quite like dying to a Singed who has 3 hp and just escaped from 4 members of your team when he was farming behind your own turret. It's nowhere close to META, but it still works sometimes.

15:30 I do think it's less about segmenting your UI elements and more like having a better guide on exactly where in your view an enemy is. If you pop around and someone ends up on the far right of your screen, you'll have a better idea of how much to adjust.

I love Gamersupps but I find their marketing pretty dirty when it comes to the "100" servings being compared to 100 monsters, in both cases a serving size is actually 8 oz not 16 as marketed, which means a 100 serving tub of gsupps is only equal to 50 cans of monster. So if you get free shipping it comes out to 70 cents per drink rather than the 35 cents people think. Too many people sponsored by Gsupps are making this mistake. I'm worried it might be part of the marketing package to lie about the price of their product at this point.

Eh, it is more fun to do blatantly dumb $#!+ in games. In Warframe I became so adept with the Aklex Prime (dual Deagles) that I slapped them with a sound suppression mod and was able to snipe with them. Specifically to a point where I could “arrow in the KNEE” and “RoboCop” people with them regularly. Which my friends were baffled by my precision on a controller.

Well it depends on how much work and walking you do in your job. For example, I would go through cheap shoes from Walmart since I'm in maintenance, and eventually got a gift of some decent Sketchers and they've lasted a lot longer.

I dont get why people shut on using moba/mmo mice for anything else, your thumb isnt doing anything else you might as well use it to not move your hands elsewhere. Also hardcore COD isnt going to make you any better at not hardcore, you'll get kills from longer ranges with shotguns, pretty sure in bo2 the mk48 would do lethal damage out to 100+ metres, I think the oden in mw 2019 would too, so you'd basically be in the hardcore mindset of hitting something once, looking away and dying. Speaking of gachas, RIP Nier Reincarnation.
