My brother is an intelligent person; he was asked to help with something in a mine. While he was there he quickly saw the problem, invented a device and made it within a week. 10 years later he services mines across Africa - installing his devices and charging a monthly maintenance fee! He then created jobs and employed youngsters and trains them up to maintain mines in each area. And he keeps innovating every year.

What kind of mines? I hope they are not for exploiting Africans of their resources, to sell them cheap to Europe, china and US. Everyone should fulfill their dreams of being independent but please not on the backs of others. This is a dream for the few in this world, it’s not for everyone. Capitalism was never meant that way.

There’s no such thing as “making money while you sleep” because you ALREADY did the work before hand and are getting the benefits later. You have set yourself up to find something useful for others in a way that it collects money for you “passively”. This is what actually happening and why you must understand you need to put in the work first that’s the point I’m trying to come across because this phrase gets thrown around a lot.

@@karinaalexandria222 yes AND no. From experience, the money you make is very inconsistent and requires you to do additional tasks later on to enforce it. Even real estate rental income requires repairs, insurance claims, law suits, and other maintenance. You don't just "make money in your sleep" you set it up to do so but you KEEP ON WORKING" just a little less stressed compared to a 9-5 but you keep on working. You are trying to "glamorize" this when it's not easy either way. Social media videos don't last forever, products don't sell forever, rent is not guaranteed, etc etc. You have to keep maintaining it. That means "WORK"

You don’t need to be obsessed to start. The obsession comes with progress. That’s what I’m realizing on my first business venture. It’s like when you start working out. When I started all I knew is I wanted to look good. I wasn’t obsessed with working out or eating well. But as I kept at it and saw progress the obsession started. If you’re waiting for obsession unfortunately you may never start anything. Desire is enough.

I’m so glad I’ve stumbled upon this. This year has been super eye opening for me ,but I got distracted from my goals of pursuing my art for a few months by thinking I needed to put myself in the system to make money to support said art. I’m super young, just turned 19, but I’ve known for a couple years now that my purpose for being here is art and life feels meaningless if I’m not creating it. I almost got wrapped up in a job I was miserable in because to my parents it was the smart option. I’ve since decided to take my own route and choose my happiness and hustling over getting stuck in a job that drains me and prevents me from doing what I do best. I don’t have a lot of support from them, but on my new spiritual path this year I’ve found my people who do support and believe in me. I know I’m gonna accomplish my goals because so far I’ve done everything I’ve set out to do 💪

Thank you for this video 😭♥️ Im struggling with mental health since I was a kid. Some as a teen, some are still present (generational trauma, trauma in general, anxiety, depression, ptsd, ed). I actually love to learn, I read studies about topics like mental health and microplastics etc that affect our health, foods that we should eat and so on. I put effort into studies yet I dont use my time well, have bad, long lasting habits and react to...everything. I love helping people but I also enjoy my own space. I'm a people pleaser, have had multiple dreams that crash when iv tried studying those areas. Workplaces can be messy to operate in and toxic, it takes a toll on me (I usually cry a lot, very sensitive to others feelings and things around me). Im fed up trying and trying but I somehow get the strength again and again... One of my trauma is related to religion. I want to seek God but fail as I don't really believe. Sometimes it seems like I get a so said message but not sure if its Real. Things happen for a reason and spirituality are what I believe in. There is smth way bigger than us. I feel like we are programmed to be mindless robots. My income is very low, I lack skills yet learn fast, waiting for and "ok" so I can find a therapist (this time it shouldnt be as hard). 6 months tho, yet I so said need the 1-3 year option. Well, rules changed. Im always so lost, makes me desperate. Oh and im rambling again, it's like I can't stop talking (ppl say I talk too much, I know). If I get passionate about smth oh boy, I overflow. I usually can't find words tho irl, its annoying and makes ppl lose interest. So much in my mind and shoulders...and for what? They say its the anxiety but there is more. I see a lot of hope and things that need to be changed asap...yet im just one in a million and can't even regulate well my emotions. Sigh.

the best advice i can give you is to stop identifying with your limitations. the moment you recognize something negative like depression and anxiety with you as a person, you’ll be stuck forever. this is coming from someone who was severely depressed for YEARS and with adhd who just decided that none of the issues was hers anymore. after i flipped the switch in my mind, i was able to stop my medication and therapy and have been perfectly mentally sound since

Have you tried looking into Vocational Rehabilitation? They help people with physical disabilities and mental illnesses find and keep jobs. Sounds like you are a life long learner which is a great quality to have! Based on the info you shared about what you enjoy learning...there is a career field called Nutritional Psychiatry. I was in severe depression 15 years ago for like 2 years straight. every day lived it was hell and a miracle at the same time, I was so mentally messed up that I could not walk no more that 3 street blocks. I have to catch my breath, I could not run anymore, I had become claustrophobic. it turned into severe anxiety! I say it was a miracle because I never thought I would make it to the next day. always thinking about death. it got so bad that if I smiled or laughed, I felt weird, like if being well and happy emotionally was not ment for me. pain crying and all bad emotions was the new norm for me. I grew up going to christian church when a child, so some how praying helped me. I never went to check my self with a pro doctor. Cuz i new that all they would do was prescribe me meds. and i didnt want to depend on it. It was hard, it took a lot of hard struggle to get back on my feet and realize that we as humans have the ability to control our brain and emotions. I had to keep my self occupied and useful. taking AMWAY vitamins. non of that GNC stuff. doing exercises and walking helped me alot. so much that now every time i think about how the hell i survived those years, I dont feel bad and i dont feel bad talking about it. thank god and the universe and my mind for helping me to some what heal my mind and body. I am still working on some things for example, now im dealing with diabetes. and i try to meditate and ask the god and the universe to help me reprogram my thoughts and way of thinking so that I can and will heal my self and body. I stopped eating fast food and sugars. I eat organic as much as possible and drink only water. green juices and apple with garlic in the mornings. do my exercises. and i feel great. I recommend you to hear bob proctor here on youtube and mindvalley! bob proctors audios and videos helped me alot and mindvalley helped me understand healing with my mind. I will pray for you and hope you heal and do will. I recommend by first to stop consuming sugars and saturated fats. no fast foods. try to eat your meats and regular stuff but add your greens to it. try to make your green juices. do walking and exercises. vitamin B and potassium and magnesium. that will help you a lot. my god and the universe bless you and heal you! you must say to your self that you are in great health and that your are going to get super healthy. and you must believe it! have conviction!

My KZbin channel is small and I want to give up sometimes and just keep my 9-5 but my job is mentally killing my creativity, but you are giving me hope to go after my vision and be what I’ve always wanted to become and help those who are also hurting and stuck in this rat race and are doing the same mistakes I did “Trading time for money” It’s such a trap…Thank you so much I needed to hear this!! ❤❤

You made some really good points, I can see you are very genuine, speaking from experience, no bluff. I've been in that rat race for years, and it's soul-destroying. You lose yourself and forget how to live. Luckily, I escaped from the hamster wheel. People don't release, but we don't have much time on Earth. Start living your life. When we are young, the most important thing is Money, but as you get older, you realise the most important thing is TIME! Everyone I know and people all around the world had enough of being slaves to money. "If you don't build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs" Les Brown.

You gotta offer value in whatever step you're in. People who want to be entrepreneurs or managers still have to offer value to the people they manage, and they have to prove they are the best offering that value. If you propose to mechanics to be their manager or if you want to open a mechanic shop as the owner, why would mechanics come work for you? Why do clients come to your shop instead of someone else's? If you are an artist, why would anyone buy art from you and not someone else. If you have a new invetion idea and are seeking invesment why would they trust you to execute the idea the best way? Ultimately, you have to offer value, and you have to prove that you are the best to give thaf value.

It’s a long journey but I’ve made so much progress over the past year, the most satisfying growth I’ve ever felt that these low paying jobs never gave me. I have a mentor (bless his soul), who’s shown me and others how to reach his level of freedom. As you said, a years salary in a day, he does that literally everyday. I wanna reach that goal not just for me but mainly to provide help to anyone I can

Back in 2016 I was 25 pounds over weight and out of shape. I didn’t know what to do or where to start. So the first thing I did was go outside for a jog. I got gassed in 30 seconds but I kept jogging everyday at the same time. Now I’ve developed a weight loss method and have been able to stay in shape and maintain my target weight ever since (I actually drop weight during the holidays). I believe that it’s going to be the same way with my journey to financial freedom.

I agree. Though I think this video I for those who truly believe in a higher calling for themselves. For some, their higher calling is to serve people so police or caregivers, etc, are serving their purpose and their calling. Garbage truck workers make a ton of money with lots of benefits (where I'm from) so they're also serving their calling.

Thank you for this. I had just graduated with a PhD in Chemistry and finished an internship so after. Now, I’m in between jobs and the field is definitely in a transition period right after covid and the election, etc. Of course, not being able to get a job hurts. While I was working in the internship, I started feeling like I want an online business and I wasn’t sure exactly what I want to do, but an idea did occur to me while watching this. I’ve learned a lot of skills doing a PhD that I can apply to my life (data analysis, research, public speaking, writing, presenting, etc.). I had to learn how to learn chemistry during this and this skill may be helpful for people out there since a lot of people find this subject hard. Anyways, thank you because I did get an idea watching this video.
