Same with guys who talk about hitting the cervix (unless you are like 10 inches long, in which case I feel sorry for you). Like they don't realise that women get 'erect' internally the more turned on they are. I will just say though, that general body size does play its part. Same as with guys and penis sizes. I've been with very petite 5'0" women and it is different to women who are 6'0" tall. Not better or worse, just different.

Actually, the hymen doesn’t “break” except in extremely rare circumstances. The hymen is a very thin membrane that only partially covers the opening of the V, and it can be slowly stretched over time in order to accommodate penetration- similar to how you can do stretching exercises to slowly become more flexible over time. Hymens can become torn, which can cause bleeding and pain, if they are stretched too quickly though. The only time a hymen should be “broken” is in a very rare circumstance where the hymen covers the entire opening, in which case a doctor would need to medically retract the membrane.

@@anjelica948You have no idea what you're talking about. "Most of the time, the hymen surrounds the opening of the vagina. Sometimes, though, it will cover only the bottom of the opening. Hymens have two different designations depending on where they are located. These terms are: Annular: Annular hymens surround the entirety of the vaginal opening. Crescentic: Crescentic hymens are shaped like crescent moons and only partially cover the vaginal opening. Newborns are generally born with annular hymens, but these hymens change to crescentic hymens around the time they reach elementary school. "

I was just 5 years old and if I went on the tips of my toes on the ladder poles, I could just about touch the bars with the tips of my fingers. So I jumped to get on the monkey bars. Trying to get off them, I was scared to let go to fall to the ground. So I tried getting back on the ladder poles. Stretching as hard as I could, I just brushed them with my shoe and tried to launch slightly to get the rest of my shoe on there. I slipped. Legs went either side of the pole, with the full force of my weight in-between my legs. I felt sick, it hurt like hell and I started balling my eyes out. The pain isn't just at the impact point either, it goes all through the insides of your abdomen. When my mum checked on me I was bleeding slightly. I had actually torn my hymen from the force of it. It healed back up later, I was still very young. I imagine what I felt, was what it must be like to get kicked in the balls. Thus I've never resorted to doing that to a guy yet. Haven't had a good enough reason to. Not the worst pain I've experienced though. This one migraine takes that spot. And I get very painful periods sometimes that will make me cry.

Its obviously hard to separate the religion from culture, especially in our region, but some of these things are really just shitty mixture of Bible, thinkers and cultural contexts. To my knowledge, the stuff in the Old Testament is much more harsh than the stuff that we are actually supposed to follow right now (New Testament and mostly the example of Christ and getting to Father through Him). But it was targeted at half civilized nomads/barbarians, so at that time, it was actually progressive. Hope that this chaotic paragraph explained at least something lol

"we came to the agreement the bloodline ends with us" I laughed at that so much! Ditto to the adoption thing though. Besides being a bodily response in order to feed a child, it's also largely psychological and dependent upon your hormone levels. Male lactation has been viewed in a range of situations, such as a spike in hormone creation during puberty, when there's a build up of lactic acid caused by strenuous exercise, emotion bonds with their baby/ies, or other serious things like liver issues.

Well it used to be that simple, but all the witch hunting ruined it. It used to be that all the women would get together and dance around naked under the full moon as a regular social event. All that time together synchs up their periods onto a uniform schedule. And since women and girls of all ages joined in, the practice got associated with the onset of puberty and hair growing in new places, and thus the concept of werewolves as a metaphor. Then the church had to come and ruin everything and branding them witches because all the menstrual blood they left behind from dancing looked like demon summoning blood runes. Yes I am joking and entirely made that up. I am sad that such a disclaimer is necessary.

That's cool The Click admitted to sometimes wear makeup on camera. Cis men should be able to enhance themselves with makeup if the want to, and not be stigmatized for it. I mean, all the top male celebrities wear it. I have a guy friend who got torn apart by his peers when it was revealed he liked to wear just a little mascara and coverup (it smudged, they noticed) and I think that's totally unfair. There's nothing wrong with improving your image however you please. Boys can be pretty, too. My partner (an ex Marine) is mortified to be associated with anything feminine. For example, he wants to dress up as a zombie for this Halloween, and was appalled when I suggested doing his makeup for him, because _only girls wear makeup._ Instead, he ran out and bought a crummy rubber mask, which won't look half as good as what I'm capable of doing. It's not even beauty makeup! And heaven forbid he so much as TOUCHES anything pink. I understand it was drilled into his head to be as masculine as possible, but he almost seems "girly" with how squeamish he is of anything remotely female! I don't get it.

I do not blame men for how a woman chooses to conduct herself. There's a reason it's "socially acceptable" to be "flakey," and it's because the alternative choices and the responsibility for making such personal choices has been deemed "sexist." In Swedish, the verb always follows the subject, so he automatically used the Swedish sentence structure while speaking English off the cuff, which is kinda cute. (I usually have to stop myself from trying to conjugate Swedish words like I'd do in Spanish, lol. Like the other day I almost said something like "vi ätemos nuestra lunchen" and I needed to take a second to process how my brain even got there. That might be a factor, but I'm guessing that (a) bigger one(s) is either or both of: (1) Confusion between normal menstrual periods and early miscarriages/"chemical pregnancies" (so called because it's early enough that you can know (for certain, and but just based on a missed period) that you're pregnant only "chemically," i.e., by taking a pregnancy test), which can sometimes be indistinguishable (without a pregnancy test) from late, but otherwise normal, periods. (2) Confusion related to the fact that some women shed visible chunks of uterine lining in their menstrual flow.

While having your period, you do have some bits in your blood. That's not baby, that's dead skin from the inside of the uterus (atleast I think so). There are women feeling bad for not having a baby then, because of this conspiracy. I do count myself in for that. Even with the knowing it being just skin, this conspiracy is traced in my head and makes me feel like a murderer. But let's be honest, it's complete bs and periods are a good thing to keep a woman healthy and not keep unused baby things and sein inside, which would be bad for the body. Let's all make periode a topic in school (or explain it more), so no one thanks they're bleeding out a dead baby!
@GamerSisters
@GamerSisters 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you are right! Actually a majority of your period is the now dead layer of skin you develop while you ovulate. Basically, during ovulation you form a layer of extra skin around your uterus so that the egg can attach itself to. When the ovulation period is over, the egg "dies" and your uterus filters it out by getting rid of the extra layer of skin with it. It helps avoid infections from the egg "dying" and also helps with "renewing" your uterus for the next cycle. So blood is actually a very small percent of periods, the blood that's coming out is actually liquefied skin. Which sounds extremely gross, I know, but biology is gross lmfao

I wouldn't necessarily say a woman needs a period though to be healthy. Of course, if it suddenly stops for no reason, then have a doctor take a look. But when taking birth control, there is no real reason to stop taking it every month for a week to induce a withdrawal bleeding, you can just keep taking it and have no period for as long as you like. It's not dangerous or unhealthy at all.

It's not skin. It's tissue that would have formed the placenta had a baby started growing. There's no need to feel bad about anything.

Well, no, the placenta forms from the same cells as the fetus, the uterine lining is what the placenta grows into, not the placenta itself.

21:01 as a Christian, I've seen some things that have made me nearly lose faith in this religion, but THIS takes the cake. Honestly don't understand how some Christians come to this conclusion. It makes me cringe.

I've seen so many angry folks take advantage of religious people, in order to spread hateful ideals and misguided ideas, it's not even funny. I feel so bad for some of the nice, normal religious people out there who get swept up by the madness.

@@sheep4life746There might be a short answer: 16th-century syphilis. Which was incurable for the next 350-odd years. Columbus and company may have picked it up in the New World; we'll never really know for sure, but right then syphilis turned virulent.

It's not cheesy. Sometimes people just need to talk about these kinds of things, and it takes a lot of bravery to put something like that out there on the internet, where everyone can see it. But really, I hope you get better. That really sucks and no one should have to go through that.

Reminder: AMAB individuals can produce breast milk, and the non-gestating parent assisting with breast feeding can help reduce post-partum depression symptoms. Which, yes, AMAB individuals, even those who are cis, can suffer from post partum depression. Though usually the gestational parent will have more severe post-partum depressions, if they have it.

"women wear lipstick because they want to look younger" me: Really? Because I'm 31 and I still wear lipstick to look older, actually. People usually guess me 3-5 years less. :D :D :D

This summer i went with my mother to the beach, and she was talking to a woman at a artisany market, and complaining about being old. And the woman said my mom was not that old because what was i, her oldest daughter, like 17? ...i turned 28 in september. And i was wearing a makeup that made me look older than without any makeup. Like, on one side is cool to look younger because when i am older i will still look younger, i guess. But...on the other side it makes me seriously question guys who are attracted to me at first sight...the question" am i managing to look like the adult i am or is this guy a pedophile? " Is always there.

I'm (cough) years old (older than 31) and I STILL think makeup makes me look older. Well, the fact that I have very little idea what I'm doing might add to that, but I dunno...without it, I look like a casual tomboy chick, with it, I suddenly look like an office lady or mom. I wear the kind that has actual colors rather than the shades of brown "no makeup look" type makeup, but still...
