Actually, the hymen doesn’t “break” except in extremely rare circumstances. The hymen is a very thin membrane that only partially covers the opening of the V, and it can be slowly stretched over time in order to accommodate penetration- similar to how you can do stretching exercises to slowly become more flexible over time. Hymens can become torn, which can cause bleeding and pain, if they are stretched too quickly though. The only time a hymen should be “broken” is in a very rare circumstance where the hymen covers the entire opening, in which case a doctor would need to medically retract the membrane.

Crescentic: Crescentic hymens are shaped like crescent moons and only partially cover the vaginal opening. Trying to get off them, I was scared to let go to fall to the ground. So I tried getting back on the ladder poles. Stretching as hard as I could, I just brushed them with my shoe and tried to launch slightly to get the rest of my shoe on there. I slipped. Legs went either side of the pole, with the full force of my weight in-between my legs. I felt sick, it hurt like hell and I started balling my eyes out. The pain isn't just at the impact point either, it goes all through the insides of your abdomen. When my mum checked on me I was bleeding slightly. I had actually torn my hymen from the force of it. It healed back up later, I was still very young. I imagine what I felt, was what it must be like to get kicked in the balls. Thus I've never resorted to doing that to a guy yet. 21:55 got me to actually talk to my boyfriend about the possibility of having kids in future (we’ve already talked about marriage and moving in together) and we came to the agreement the bloodline ends with us and it’s either adoption of a kid in late elementary or older or no kids at all because we can’t deal with the mental anguish of it and neither of us are comfortable enough with our afab bodies to have biological children

"we came to the agreement the bloodline ends with us" I laughed at that so much! Ditto to the adoption thing though. For example, he wants to dress up as a zombie for this Halloween, and was appalled when I suggested doing his makeup for him, because _only girls wear makeup._ Instead, he ran out and bought a crummy rubber mask, which won't look half as good as what I'm capable of doing. That might be a factor, but I'm guessing that (a) bigger one(s) is either or both of: (1) Confusion between normal menstrual periods and early miscarriages/"chemical pregnancies" (so called because it's early enough that you can know (for certain, and but just based on a missed period) that you're pregnant only "chemically," i.e., by taking a pregnancy test), which can sometimes be indistinguishable (without a pregnancy test) from late, but otherwise normal, periods. (2) Confusion related to the fact that some women shed visible chunks of uterine lining in their menstrual flow.
@kiraoshiro61573 жыл бұрын
@@Mathee oh ok that makes sense
@EmanuelTheFerret3 жыл бұрын
While having your period, you do have some bits in your blood. That's not baby, that's dead skin from the inside of the uterus (atleast I think so). There are women feeling bad for not having a baby then, because of this conspiracy. I do count myself in for that. Even with the knowing it being just skin, this conspiracy is traced in my head and makes me feel like a murderer. But let's be honest, it's complete bs and periods are a good thing to keep a woman healthy and not keep unused baby things and sein inside, which would be bad for the body. Let's all make periode a topic in school (or explain it more), so no one thanks they're bleeding out a dead baby!
@GamerSisters3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you are right! Actually a majority of your period is the now dead layer of skin you develop while you ovulate. Basically, during ovulation you form a layer of extra skin around your uterus so that the egg can attach itself to. When the ovulation period is over, the egg "dies" and your uterus filters it out by getting rid of the extra layer of skin with it. It helps avoid infections from the egg "dying" and also helps with "renewing" your uterus for the next cycle. So blood is actually a very small percent of periods, the blood that's coming out is actually liquefied skin. Which sounds extremely gross, I know, but biology is gross lmfao
@spiritmuse3 жыл бұрын
It's more a mucous membrane that is very rich in blood and blood vessels, not skin or anything skin like. And yeah it can definitely come out in chunks. I wouldn't necessarily say a woman needs a period though to be healthy. Of course, if it suddenly stops for no reason, then have a doctor take a look. But when taking birth control, there is no real reason to stop taking it every month for a week to induce a withdrawal bleeding, you can just keep taking it and have no period for as long as you like. It's not dangerous or unhealthy at all.
@iXenuX Жыл бұрын
It's not skin. It's tissue that would have formed the placenta had a baby started growing. There's no need to feel bad about anything.
@robokill387 Жыл бұрын
