One time, my dad and I went to Taco Bell. The drive-through wasn't open, so we went inside to order stuff. Why was the drive-through closed? Some people decided to order $75 dollars worth of tacos, ordered outta nowhere. No order was placed in advance (if you can actually do that). Both the customers and the workers seemed to be annoyed at each other. I can agree with the workers. WHO ORDERS $75 WORTH OF TACOS!?

Bruh something like that literally happened to me a few days back at McDonald’s. I went through the drive thru just to get one Diet Coke. That’s it. Just one soda. There was a car in front of me ordering. No problem, right. After they’re done ordering, I ask for one soda and they tell me that they’re out of sodas. I was a bit confused as to how they can run out of sodas. The previous order from the car in front of mine was still on the screen. I look at it just out of curiosity and these dumbasses literally ordered $108 worth of food. Like 50 chicken nuggets, 20 cheeseburgers, 10 chocolate shakes, a shit ton of fries and god knows what else. But it’s like what’s the point of going through the drive thru? It’s not like their going to get their entire order right away just cuz it’s in the drive thru, they probably still had to wait like an hour or something just for half of their order to be done. I think it would’ve been better if they called the store a day before and let them know about their order and at what time they need it, not order it through the drive thru. Moral of the story, stop stressing out minimum wage workers just cuz you’re too impatient or stupid to let them know about a big order beforehand.

I’ve had comments hearted by various content creators, but it was because I made comments about the video they liked and agreed with. My brother tried to replace the air chamber in my bike since he put a hole in it somehow trying to get it into our apartment for a clean. He said it was so hard to do he said he'll never do it again unless he had the right equipment. Guess what. When I pooped a tire I went to the sports store chain my bike whas bought in with the front wheel (it can be removed easily to fit into a car), got the air chamber and asked the guy at the repair station to fix it for me. I paid something like 5 euros for his service but was extremely satisfied of his fast work. My brother spent something like 15 minutes to do it, almost bent a few knives in the process and did a full arm workout trying to replace it. You pay them for the work you can't do. You pay them for knowing something you don't and their speedy ways. Oiling a bike isn't too hard if you look online. Just buy some sewing machine oil and that's it. And don't get me started on pumping wheels. I have two pumps at home. One for my bike one for beach balls. Yes you heard it right beach balls/footballs we had as kids. And it takes maximum fine minutes to pump my wheels when they're deflated. So yours is just an excuse for not wanting to bend a finger.

I saw a reddit where they were asking about bad first dates. This woman said that she went to a man's house and he said he'd take her to dinner but she had to drive. So she's driving along and he directs her to the nearest taco bell. She's ok with that but when the pull up to the window, he leans over and orders 100 tacos. Then he "discovers" that he has left his wallet at home so she ends up paying. A lot of other stuff happened too but apparently there are people who order stupid amounts of food at the drive through window.

As someone who used to work restaurant and service, you need to call any place ahead of time.. yes even McDonald's, if you're gonna have a large party or large order. And we're talking AT LEAST A DAY EARLY!!! That way they can serve others, and have someone separately make your order, or clear the dining room a little before they seat a large party.

Also about the 63 Subway sandwiches- most Subway stores won't accept orders like that and will instead ask that you put in a catering order for pick up the next day. This is so they can get extra staff to help with the sandwiches. Sometimes staff have to show up an hour earlier just to get started on this stuff. It literally takes all morning to make an order like that, which is why it has to be called in advance. Source: I worked a Circle K overnight and watched Subway staff come in at 5am to prepare for their catering orders. Asked questions pretty frequently cause me and the Subway manager were chatty af first thing in the morning

My parents would often pay $20 or to our babysitters, an I would be paid about the same for similar jobs…for, like A DATE NIGHT. A couple hours of me and my sister being awake, and then just making sure no one kidnapped us before Mom and Dad got home. If you want 8+ hours a day across the multiple days, then be prepared to pay a full-time hourly wage.

"Nurse" is really just a fancy word for "special doctors assistant". The only reason it's treated as a woman's job and has a feminine name is because that is what it used to be. pls correct if wrong this is based off limited knowledge

“Special doctor’s assistant” doesn’t really seem right to me because it kind of suggests that nurses follow doctors around and help them… But nurses and doctors have completely different roles. this isnt the best example, but that would almost be like saying a waiter is a cook’s assistant. Nurses CAN and DO assist doctors with things, but we work as a team with different roles. This is my experience as a floor nurse… When you’re in the hospital, nurses and PCTs are the ones who stay with you the whole day and come every single time you call for help. We’re the ones watching over you very closely. Doctors diagnose you and “come up with the plan” regarding your issue. They visit (usually) once a day (anywhere from 30seconds~30mins, or more depending if theyre doing a procedure). You can also have several different doctors seeing you during the day, each seeing you for different problems with different plans. Nurses carry out those plans, doublecheck for any errors, keep everything organized, administer the medicine, advocate for you, and stay by your side for the 12 hours we’re there. Doctors don’t usually give meds or insert IVs . It’s impossible to do everything by yourself for one patient- that’s why it’s a team of doctors nurses PCT PT RT Case Manager and more. That’s just my experience, I’m sure the roles vary depending on what kind of nurse/setting. Sorry for long winded answer. I quit nursing and miss talking about it.
