As a person who enjoys Danganronpa but does not consider myself affiliated with the fandom (because it’s a disaster), the fandom constantly tries to convince you that your personal opinion is morally wrong. It’s just not enough to those kids to accept that people have different opinions, they want to invent reasons to make not agreeing with their opinion problematic. I swear, I’ve seen people throw around accusations of “homophobic” “transphobic,” “ableist,” and just about everything else you can think of to defend their ships. It’s horribly juvenile behavior. It absolutely befuddles me that these people can’t just accept the basic concept that others are allowed to have different opinions and preferences and should still be respected even if they disagree. It’s like these kids have never learned basic morals.

im a part of the gacha community (mostly animation and art area) and its makes me really upset to see this is what the fandom has become. its becoming worse than when it was 2018-19 and it hurts to watch. all those in the good area of the community get hate for things they cant stop, what they hate to see happening is what they get blamed for! we have many hashtags, and people trying to stop this disgusting thing (aka heat, racism, homophobia etc,) in the community as a lot of our viewers are young, but as it grows so does the hate, so does the bad area of the community! usually these kinds of posts are from young kids and its disgusting their parents let them do that! anyway, brilliant video dom, you've made me laugh! :D

As someone that was in the gacha community and sometimes check what's going on there, i agree on the fact that those gacha cringe kids create a pretty bad reputation to the gacha community but also to others communities as the dsmp community that once wasn't filled with cringe gacha kids and kids faking disorders but with normal teenagers that for the most part enjoyed roleplaying or writing and most of all enjoyed watching the streams and the lore and making theories about the future lore and sometimes even cosplaying or making art ! The problem with those gacha kids is that they don't just stay in one fandom, they don't stay in the gacha community they go into more known fandoms like fnaf, the dsmp, sometimes more indie horror games etc and create a bad image of this fandom. That's why I think that we should all try to search a bit before making conclusions about a fandom.
