Kissinger was a piece of shit, but it's getting pretty old to act like North Vietnam didn't arm the Khmer Rouge with weapons and the communist ideology that they proceeded to use to genocide their local population. It's also silly to pretend that North Vietnam didn't invade and illegally occupy that country and intimidate the civilians there into compliance or slave labor on the Ho Chi Minh trail. It's ALSO worth noting that after the Vietnam war, Vietnam then invaded Cambodia. Henry Kissinger had little to nothing to do with any of those things and they would have happened whether or not the Vietnam war happened. And of course, if we wanna trace the funding and ideological propaganda back to it's original source, we see China and Russia meddling in other countries affairs, inspiring civil war, and then funding genocide. But let's just point the blame at the US right? Because the freedom of information act and other congressional laws actually allow you to learn what we've done while other countries who have done equally horrendous things just lie and get taken at their word
