All these people saying “why didn’t you leave if he was abusive” have no idea of how abuse works. Abuse doesn’t start outright with physical violence, otherwise leaving would be easy. It’s a sinister long con of isolation, gas lighting, taking away means of leaving such as checking phones or keeping tabs on money. It’s about making you lose your sense of self worth, intimidating you. People should educate themselves on abusers tactics and victims stories rather than calling victims fools or money hungry. Smh.

Also threat's. People like R Kelly manipulate, plan their vicious attacks. It's a form of brainwashing. Especially if a couple have kids together makes it extremely hard to leave. They threaten to harm or kill kids so it's not easy to leave a domestic violence situation because domestic violence is not just physical it's mental abuse emotional abuse. It's like been stuck in a maze with no light's. Trying to escape...but there is an end to a maze. Even getting out all bruised and damaged it is possible to leave it's just extremely difficult.

I feel for all that felt the after effects of what this man suffered in his childhood and obviously never getting proper healing and deliverance from it! I was such a HUGE fan of R Kelly even when I was at the time Aaliyah's age as well when he made his debut in the industry....I never understood why I was a little girl literally in love with this man and the words he sang thru the speaker, but, as I grew and my healing from childhood sex abuse began, I then understood the connection! It was sad and sick at the same time...he reminded me much of my abusers who coerced me into enjoying the sexual desires that they themselves had and wanted me to feel and experience them as well, didnt care if I was 11, 12, 13, or 14😭😭..for YEARS my mind was indulged in things that a child should NEVER have been exposed to, but I didn't know any better, I grew to love it, and became numb to the pain..the more I embraced it,the more I felt power from it SMH!!! As sad as it sounds, it's TRUE and to overcome as I have at this point in my life, I can only say, it was GOD Almighty!!! There is so much more that many will never understand about R Kelly and others who has gone thru this sick trauma as young innocent children! I pray and cry out for these kind of ppl, whether children or adults...I could write books on the psychological effects of this sex demon Spirit that would blow minds!! Sorry for the long comment, but ppl need help...its harder than one can imagine if they have never been thru it...by all means, no one has the right to hurt anyone in anyway, but the shattered and disturbed mind doesn't always see or understand things that way!! Gabriell Williams - Thank you for posting this! Fabulous post!! You are so right - why can't those in youtube world - focus on her escape from all the abuse rather than she's keeping her legal name? wtf? Priorities please, people.
@myswanktrendz6 жыл бұрын
Patrick Finley - your post shows how young and naive you are. If indeed, you are older, I am in shock with your inability to understand a mother's position in an abusive relationship.You believe Andrea should be further punished, and banished to the corner with a different name. My friend's 1st husband was an unemployed, junkie LOSER! After she left him, she refused to run away from her legal family name. She also did not fill her kids heads with all the crap and abuse her ex had done to her and instead, let her kids arrive at their own conclusions. Sure enough, after several years of sporadic visitations, the kids just couldn't believe the hell she clearly went through. They are 100% supportive of their mother, and proud of her strength.

Lol she is helping them how? It didnt take being his dancer, lover, wife, and giving birth to get to know R KELLY. The x wife and all the sluts are money hungry, and a WHITE MAN SNITCHES TO DO THEIR WORK FOR THEM. ALL OF THEM ENJOY GIVING AND RECEIVING THE GOODIES. HEY THEY ARE WEAK MINDED, AND LOW SELF ESTEEM. A REAL BLACK WOMAN DO NOT NEED A MAN MADE ORGANIZATION, MEDIA, OTHERS TO DISPOSE OR TO LIE TO BRING A PERSON DOWN BECAUSE YOU ARE NO LONGER THE CREAM OF THE CROP. REMEMBER YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

evang reid - clearly r kelly's story has touched you in a personal way which is why you are yelling at all the women he's abused. You are saying that if the abuser is talented and wealthy, than the survivors of the abuse are jealous because they are now replaced by younger women? I hope YOU are fully aware that you will also reap what you sow given your poisonous and nasty posts. You too will reap a karmic outcome, and you have only your own closed mind to blame.

She earned that last name, so if she wants to use it, she can in any way she feels fit and everybody talking about money, he doesn't even pay child support, he stopped paying her.and that says a lot about a man, even if your broken up with a woman, those are still your children and they still need your support. People are so judgmental, but let it be your family member or your sister, or your mom, or your aunt, or anyone who is close to you, your heart will change so fast you wouldn't even realize it

Keeping his last name makes me feel he is still controlling her. She isn't like Tina Turner with a stage name. She was known as "R. Kelly's wife". Now she just confirms it proudly when she no longer has too.

I think fame and fortune helped him to commit so many offensive but I don't think it's why he did it. He's a predator plain and simple. We all have opportunities in life to be kind or cruel. It's either in you or it isn't.
@steverobinson18683 жыл бұрын
@@annmacdonald4349 I truly would say yes to your words. However I'd also disagree because who exactly has shown proof that this man committed these crimes to show he's a sexual predator. Everything is based off words no proof, from former staffers who seem disgruntled to ex girlfriend(s) but no one has shown proof. That's why we've said EVERYONE got something out the deal being around him, an if working or being with him was so bad why didn't they walk away immediately or let's say a week tops.
