Ma'am, at 5:26 of the lecture, you said..ferrite core has no electrical conductivity. I know that you mean to say ferrite core's s electrical resistivity is higher than iron core which helps in minimizing eddy currentsl. Please use low and high kind of comparison in stead of saying no electrical conductivity. I follow your lectures madam...they are very helpful.

Time constant will remain same, as the no of turns double every thing else is constant, L will become double (as turn and length of coil is double) and also the Resistance will be double. So time constant no change.
