I can't wait for my superdelite! It's scheduled for a February build(was produced early and on its way now). It's a Rholoff HS GX with Fox upgrade and front rack with the bag. I also got Tannus Armor, aerothan tubes and the new Hiplok d1000 to keep it safe. It's going to be a car replacement for me. A work vehicle and the best beach cruiser in Florida.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. This was for me the definitve guide to my decision to go full-suspension and not hard tail. I appreciate now (and I really failed to understand previously despite watching a dozen vidoes, talking to bike shops and doing online research) that full suspension is partly about comfort and partly about safety. Up to each of us to balance the relative importance of the two. We accept without question that for our cars, the tires must always stay in contact with the road. It sounds crazy to imagine otherwise. Of course the same must be true for our bicycles! GOT IT! I love the style you have take with this video: you are not selling anything, just commenting on what we can see going on as you ride a variey af trails, exactly the same trails I ride. Well done!

Very nice and in-depth presentation as usual! I bought exactly that full spec bike in may ‘20 and I am very “Delited”! It is a lot of money but it’s the best investment in your future! Health is not somerhing you get for free... We bought 2 eBikes instead of a second car and that saves us more €! For my wife we bought an Homage with the same specs (GX Rohloff) but unfotunately that bike was not yet updated... We are both retired (+65) and live in Belgium 🇧🇪 (Europe) and use our bikes every single day for shopping, holidays, fun... These bikes are the MAX!!!

Hello from Luxembourg. We are neighbours. I'm about 250km from the R&M factory here. Maybe, just maybe i could get there on one charge. My superdelite is due in February - perhaps I could collect it from the factory and ride it home. 🤣

Just ordered one🥳 But the Supercharger. I’m a hard tail lover. Anyway: The Rohloff is a must if you’re living in steep terrain. My recent e- bike with Bosch CX (Haibike XDuro 2019, bavarian company) is dying, because the hills here are very steep and the Shimano drivetrain & chain stressed the motor too much. Edit: Changed the order to the suspended Superdelite, Rohloff, GX. You changed my mind. Also can’t wait for the dropper post. Must be great at stops in big city traffic. The GX version has now the new Schwalbe Johhny Watts. Supposedly a grippy tire who is smooth and silent on asphalt and capable of trails/ muddy forestry roads. Can’t test drive right now in Germany because of the never ending Lockdown. So your video was very helpful.

I rode recumbents for 15+ years (butt/hands) and only got back on uprights 8 years ago when I bought a full suspension Haibike that has become my road/mut bike with Super Moto X tires and fenders. If your tailbone is sensitive fs makes a big difference in how long you can ride. Nice to see some street bikes but wish it weren't so expensive.

Simply the best review I’ve ever seen. Thanks for taking the time. What do you think about the Delite 4 high speed for a commute of 40km total?/ Today I bike that distance in an e-bike with max assistance of 25km/h. It’s one of those with some resistance once it gets to 25km/h. So it’s hard to go faster than that. And here where I live the bike lanes are great (Copenhagen, DK), so it feels really safe in a good part of the journey, as the bike lanes on the road are completely separated from the cars and only a few people are biking there. Thanks again for the super cool video😊

I have to say I think the older version I have with external batteries looks sleeker when 2 batteries are installed than the SuperDelite. Much prefer the single battery version with a much thinner top tube. Looks so much less like a tank. But if you really need the extra range, I guess you just have to accept the bulky look.

What an awesome review 👍. What do you think about the ABS option? It’s too bad that we can’t combine the Fox suspension upgrade with ABS. I tried an ABS e-bike last week, and I was able to hit both brakes really hard even on a wet surface that was covered with wet leaves. The front wheel was absolutely stable with ABS and didn’t lock at all, while it quickly started to skid on non-ABS models. However, I will be transporting my laptop with this bike as well, and I think the Fox upgrade might be nice to have to protect it from shaking all the time.

The reviews on trust pilot are absolutely savage on waiting times and customer service(with Riese and muller)do you think there’s any truth to those reviews. I’m asking because this style bike would be perfect for my needs, thanks
@CitrusCycles3 жыл бұрын
In terms of wait times, R&M eBIkes are custom made in Germany, so if we don't have the bike you are looking for in stock, there will be a wait while it is made for you in Germany. At the time of ordering, we usually have a good idea of how long that will take, but of course that could change, and we make that clear to our customers ahead of time. Unfortunately, it is possible that some dealers aren't as transparent, or as we sometimes find, customers just don't believe that it will take as long as we say and then are disappointed when it turns out to be true! In terms of customer service, your R&M dealer should be your main point of contact. We work hard to take really good care of our customers. Ideally, you shouldn't have to worry about customer service from R&M, because we take care of you. Having said that, we haven't experienced any problems with their customer service, but there can sometimes be some cultural differences, as service is based in Germany, and the German approach to customer service, although valid, is different than what you may be used to in North America.

@CitrusCycles3 жыл бұрын
We tend to use racks such as the Kuat that don't have any frame contact. However, we have some clamp style racks that seem to work by clamping onto the seatpost, so I guess it depends on the rack.

@@thekaibailey It is a bit heavier than a regular bike due to the battery and motor, but it is fairly easy to ride with the assistance off.
