Loathes “That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime”, but doesn’t mind “Skeleton Knight in Another World”, “How a Realist Hero Rebuilt a Kingdom”, “How Not to Summon a Demon Lord”, or “Black Summoner”. As he puts it, it is the difference of how they got overpowered. Most of the ones I mentioned involved them having grinded in a game they played and then were teleported into or the sacrifice of their memories in the case of the Black Summoner. Meanwhile the Realist Hero used his knowledge from our world, from his old job, and from the books he read to become a formidable leader. Rimuru, in his eyes, was overpowered from the start from their reincarnation and became more overpowered as time went on, being able to kill thousands in mere moments.

3:42 I'm nearly in tears. It's 8:30 AM. I slept for two hours last night because I have a job interview this afternoon-my _first_ interview in almost three months-and I've been panicking too much to really sleep. I was named after a middlingly popular TV show from the 80s-90s. I've received more emails, texts, and phone calls from prospective employees asking me questions like "Is that *really* your name?" than I've gotten rejection or position filled notices, and the fact this is my second interview this year is telling on how many positive responses I've gotten. Also, it's frustrating how many times I've had someone say "Why don't you find yourself a Skipper, Gilligan!" because I've had four variants on that thrown at me because apparently people in my locale like Gilligan's Island more than the show I was named after, and consider my name dumb or something. Either that or my anxiety's getting to me again, but still. GIVE KIDS NORMAL GODDAMN NAMES! And while you're at it, watch what your kids' initials might spell. I was called "Missus" from 5th to 8th grade, because of my initials being "MIS." Not fun.

8:32 Dude, humans are SCARY. The one that shook his hand got his hand broke and is now bedridden with influenza. By the time they realized he was murderous, he convinced them he was genuinely scientifically curious about the laser rifles, so he memorized the code to the gun safe(or ripped off the hand needed to open it) and now he's shot all the others while the aliens sleep, the lights are out, and now he's armed. He slowly stalks the halls with a bowie knife and the only functional laser rifle, the rods in his eyes ensuring you cannot hide in the dark, his predatory ears picking up even the smallest noises, slowly lasercutting his way through locked doors, or bashing them open with brute strength. The aliens think they've won when they lock him in the airlock and jettison atmosphere for 20 seconds, only for the now pissed-off but very much alive sociopath to stalk the halls, abducting them one by one, and all the while, the alien bedridden with Influenza Is assailed by the human, who brings the heads of his crewmates one by one, and whem finally The Captain's head is plopped down on the bedridden's chest, and he can barely breathe anymore; the human slowly, oh, so slowly, crosses the room, and... treats him? The alien slowly recovers, and when he can speak, the human only has questions. Questions on how the ship works, where their homeworld is, how their _weapons_ work. And as the ship lands back on earth, the alien finally breaks, his fingernails shattered and jabbed into the flesh they once covered, his will no longer strong enough to save his race. from this Monster...

1:51 That resonates with me decently well. I told my family about Deathnote after I'd only seen about 8 episodes. We decided to pick up watching it together, and they loved it. Then the show blindsided me by including probably the inspiration behind every early 2000s Otaku stereotype. A popular super-star who ends up with the same powers as the main character, but better because she's so in-love with him and dedicated to him. Every character who isn't Light or L instantly loves her enough to die for her. If Misa wasn't such an idiot, I'd say she was a Mary Sue. There's also the scene where L cleans off Light's feet, which I thought was just awkward until Dad pointed out that it's a reference to the Bible.

OpenAI's text generation model (Which drives AI Dungeon) was trained by scraping reddit posts and comments, meaning it would probably know how an AITA post is structured. It can also handle up to about 30 words of context, if I remember correctly, for each word it adds on to the end of the string. This means that it wouldn't loose track of what it was talking about on a post this short, like it does in AI Dungeon.

When I go into a Starbucks and they ask my name, I'll usually just say "Oh, yeah, it's Krzysztof" (The name of a polish friend of mine). I do it with a totally straight face and you can often see that little jolt of panic in their eyes. Usually they'll say "....... Erm, how do you spell that?". I just sternly look at them, and say "It's spelt like it sounds" then repeat the name. Some of them just scribble some random thing on the cup (which it usually amusing because my friend knows I do this, and I'll quietly snap a picture of their attempts and email the best ones to him every once and a while. He thinks it funny how us Brits can find so many different ways to mess up his name). On the other hand, they'll sometimes freeze and don't know what to do, I'll then just say, "Oh, you want my name for the cup? Oh, Just put the letter K on it". It may be childish, but it's just a little thing to help break up the monotony of my days.

I can never share the absolute worst name I've ever seen because I'm a hospital worker and it's a HIPAA violation because it is just such a unique and identifiable name. the kid was admitted as a mental health patient and I theorize that the situation had everything to do with the type of parents that would name their child like that. I can't say for sure because I'm just not supposed to know that stuff, but that's my theory.

2:14 I remember a school club having a hang out at one of their houses, and we all sprawled out across the floor and projected A Silent Voice onto the ceiling. I will remember that night for a very, very long time. Also I had my true gay awakening because I was cuddling with a girl and I only realized that several months later.

The name thing hits me so hard because my aunt named her son Cruz and I just sit there and think to myself, “god this poor kid is gonna be a 30 year old man one day and his name is CRUZ”

Is your aunt religious? If so, she most likely named him "cross", but in portuguese. Kinda well thought but still unusual

EMT here! We played "move bitch, get out the way" through the PA system a few times. It was always down the highway or on rural roads, but it was hilarious!
