Confession: one year my mom and I made a Thanksgiving Dinner casserole, since nobody in the family is particularly picky and in some cases will just Huck Finn (scramble) the whole plate into a mess anyway. Stuffing on the bottom, then turkey, green bean casserole, capped with mashed potatoes and then sliced cranberry sauce after it had baked and had a chance to cool a little. Honestly the weirdest part was the cranberry sauce on top, but it was quite tasty, checked all the boxes for Thanksgiving Dinner elements (we had sides as normal) AND made for more time spent with family instead of going nuts climbing over each other in the kitchen to cook. Not a go-to classic, but definitely a worthy option on a time limit.
