The sad thing about the first story, if Donna had just been a nice person, she'd had spent the last 30 years as that kids godmother, or auntie Donna.

Considering actions taken, I don't think Donna was interested in the act of raising the child as much as being considered a mother.

Donna is exactly the type of person that all mothers should get a restraining order on. If I was pregnant and my landlord/lady wanted to adopt my baby and refused to take no for an answer, I would immediately start looking for another apartment.

Story 1: I hate the fact that Donna only helped because she wanted the baby, and she would gladly put people through hell to get what she wanted. That baby would not survive. That last story … I had a similar during grad school. The school purchased an apartment building to house grad students. The apartment had a bed, desk and dresser for each student, but nothing else. I lived with three other girls. We furnished that apartment with a couch, a kitchen table, pits, pans, etc. It was actually very nice. At the end of the year one of the girls graduated, so when we came back in September we had a new roommate. She was a real piece of work, managed to alienate all of us within a few weeks. The three of us graduated in December. We gave everything away to friends who lived in the building - couch, table, dishes, everything. She came back in January to a very basic apartment.

Honestly those kinds of people are unworthy of that title. I’ve seen “people” and I use that term very loosely, kick their children out at 18 with no warning or reason whatsoever, others I’ve seen them get kicked out for being LGBTQ+ or even for having different political or religious beliefs, even some other bs reason. My point is that any parent can actively abandon their child for these kinds of reasons or even no reason at all is unworthy of being parents.

"Petty" in this case means "having little or no importance", which applies to revenge stories where the revenge isn't impactful enough on the target for them to be considered pro or higher. It totally fits the last story, as coming back to an empty house is really just a big inconvenience: a quick trip to a dept. store should solve most of the immediate issues.
@fdm2155

Story 1 reminds me of a crazy coworker I had years ago. She'd always lament how she couldn't have kids and couldn't carry to term. When I got pregnant everyone thought it was odd that she announced that she was too. Then she started making comments like "you know my bf is black... If you gave me your baby it would look like it was just his baby haha"... She kept inviting to follow her down the street to her house to pick up baby clothes she got as a gift. NOPE. I had to go to the managers when people started telling me how I was so kind to help her.... Because she'd been telling people I was her surrogate because she miscarried which didn't make sense at all. It got to the point where I had to have family members trail me so that she couldn't try anything crazy when we left work

That face cloth story is so weird. Makeup wipes can be bought at the dollar store and you'll get tons of them. I buy a coco butter based one for a $1 and there's like 200 sheets in it. If you shelled out maybe 5 bucks you can buy micellar water and a 100 pack of cotton pads. They last forever. Even cold cream then you don't need the cotton pads at all. Makeup removal isn't all that expensive. Especially if she can afford to buy the make up to begin with.

@MidnightHedgehog365
@MidnightHedgehog365 Жыл бұрын
@@glennrishton5679 true but a washing machine doesn't resolve the issue of her stealing OP's face rags. Whether it's a face rag or wipe or whatever she needs to buy her own stuff. Also you do have to be careful about washing cosmetics in a washing machine. They can be made out of hazardous and/or flammable materials which can cause an explosion when heated in the washer or dryer. They also can stain. Imagine leaving a red chapstick in your pants pocket and accidentally washing it. Your pants are ruined b/c of the oils and fragrance and stains from the chapstick. So you'd have to wash the rags by themselves which can add up quickly if you have to pay say $3 to wash and dry each time in addition to your normal clothes since you can't wash them together and if you separate your whites. That's three loads of laundry and $9 bucks spent once a week at minimum. Probably more if you wear make up more often. It's ultimately cheaper just to buy remover wipes every couple of months.

My parents bore it throughout the day, but when evening came my dad had enough and got creative. He found a sound clip of howling wolves on youtube, hooked up his laptop to his portable PA system, put it all on the porch and pressed play. For some strange reason, the loud music abruptly stopped and the rest of the night was absolutely quiet. XD

The more I hear about these Karen’s trying to choose the child to adopt, the more I’m convinced that it’s a racial preference. When seeking to adopt a child, you cannot choose based on race or have a preference. It’s to clearly make sure that no racial bias goes into adopting. But when Karens try to do this privately, it’s absolutely certain that she wanted a specific child

Yes, you can in fact choose the child you want to adopt. That's... kind of how it works. You don't just get assigned a child.

I thought it was to baby trap a guy after faking being pregnant. She can pick one that looks like her husband, and if she adopted one "off the grid" there would be a lot less paperwork and legal attention than if she tried to adopt one from an orphanage or something.

1st story: That's not a human is a psycho parasite. I feel for OP cause I'm unfortunately associated with someone who did something similar, it groomed a child and tried buying everything for the baby so they're entitled to the baby, then attempted to take the new born. Shocker it was also a person of "god."

Story One is a ProRevenge! Donna SO deserved the karma that she got for trying to illegally claim OP’s baby as her OWN, then FIRING OP illegally and for a stupid reason! I would’ve taken Donna to court and sued her for harassment, wrongful termination over false accusations, wanting a baby without consent, wrongful eviction AND discrimination against a pregnant woman in a sadistic manner! Also, OP’s parents should ALSO be punished for abandoning their daughter and grandbaby. Yes, everyone can be conservative if they want. But if parents chooses conservatism over their OWN family, let alone their kids, they’re gonna face karma justice against THEM; loneliness, being disowned by their family and kids, and not being taken care of or given money that they hoped because “kids are to be OUR caretakers and ATMs when we’re old!”. OP, if you’re reading this, I hope you file a restraining order in case your so called “parents” tries to get back into your life, try to weasel into yours and your daughter’s lives and expect you to treat them like they’re gods. Because I’m my personal opinion, those two scumbags that abandoned you DO NOT deserve to be called parents! They were NO PARENTS, they straight up abandoned OP and expect her to just survive all by herself! “Sorry! Don’t expect US to give you support and love now! Consider us strangers from now on! Good luck with the brat, kiddo!” Absolutely appalling.

OP Should have gotten nuclear revenge on both Donna AND her deadbeat ex. All ot would take is contacting the Navy and telling them he skipped out on the kiddo. They would force a paternity test and he could choose, financial responsibility and have child support come out of his earnings, or dishonorable discharge and lose all benefits.

The fourth and fifth stories remind me of an accidental Ahole Pettyrevenge I afflicted on a former appartmentmate. I was finishing up my time at uni, but I was graduating a semester later than I expected. So I had to move from my single person appartment (due to my lease expiring and being taken over by someone else) to a shared appartment with two strangers. The two appartmentmates were nice but very particular and controlling, which I was ok with as I was barely in my appartment as I spent most of my time at the university working on finishing my final semester, thus as so long as I did not make a mess we really did not interact. As I was graduating in the fall and then moving for a government job, I was going to vacate my room in the appartment. This complex rented by the room, rather than by the apartment itself, so I was on the hook to the landlords, not by housemates for the continuing rent. The two homemates and the landlords were aware that I will be leaving in the fall before I started living there, the plan was for me to find a replacement once I left or I would just pay out the rest of the school year rent (expensive, but hey I got a good paying job so not financially impossible for me). A few weeks before I left, one of my housemates was hotboxing his room (smoking a ton of weed) and the smoke was filling up my room. I have not problem with people smoking weed, but I do not do so and do not appriate someone filling my bedroom with smoke. We talked, and he sort of brushed me off and commented that it was cold outside so he did not want to open the window. So whatever, i was slightly annoyed but hey that is life when you are living with other people. When I graduated and left, the two housemates extracted a promise that they have veto power over who I can choose to replace me (even though rooms are contracted individually with the complex). I attempted to comply with this promise, but come January, I still could not find a replacement as everyone seemed to dislike the requirement of being interviewed. Suddonly I got a message from the complex with my full bill (Jan-July) due at once, this seemed insane as I was planning on paying monthly, so I called them and they were cagey about it and asked if I would like them to look for a replacement, I said sure as I was overwhelmed at my current job and they seemingly were demanding payment in full. A few weeks pass, then I get a phone call from my former housemate, yelling at me for betraying him. It turns out that the complex did find someone, and the person was a crack addict who aparently was mentallly unstable. So I called the complex as I felt guilty for this situration and they told me the day I left, I voided my residence there and had no say in who replaces me. At this point, I just blocked all numbers and went on with life. I feel bad, but my former housemate was a bit controlling and hypocritical for hotboxing my room. I really feel sorry for the third guy who seemed nice but I talked to only a couple times. (This does feel like a escalation, but I did not plan or mean for this to happen, it was just roommate roulette). TL;DR My controlling roommate who hotboxed the apartment had to live with a crackhead (apparently).

My sister tried to steal my bleach bowl and brush when she was moving out to be petty. It was a cheap bowl and brush but hair products are expensive and I never buy accessories unless I use them frequently. So I bought a bunch of dip stick pregnancy tests and started looking for my bowl. I asked her "have you seen my bowl?" She said no but asked if I bought bleach and developer probably so she can use it because I always shared. I said no I wanted to take a pregnancy test and I only buy dip strips from the 99 cent store so I pee in the bleach bowl and dip the strip. I found my bowl after that but never found my brush. 😂

The "single mum" thing does get stereotyped a lot (and sometimes for a good reason), but in an of itself it's really not a good predictor. Just too many variables aside from that, but the biggest one seems to be said single mother recognising that the jobs of mother and father *are* different, and finding a way to fulfill them both rather than pretending the latter is unnecessary. This is by far the biggest reason why a somewhat larger fraction of single fathers produce well-adjusted young adults. There isn't an ideological movement that's been bringing up blokes to believe that women in general (mothers in particular) are useless and unnecessary.

1st story, Karma happened. Only monsters would do that to a mother with her unborn child. And Roe V Wade overturned made things so much worse in certain states for mothers. Glad OP got revenger and got that person fired, got her job back, and a settlement pay and got things situated. Story 4, Sure, the wife and kid didn't deserve it, but it wasn't OPs fault for that happening. The wife deserved to know so she could move forward with her life and her kid's life and without that cheating butt. They didn't deserve to be cheated on. Hopefully OP doesn't blame themselves for telling the wife and breaking that up because OP did the right thing 100%.

I wish my mom would have abandoned me at birth and left me with my dad. Would have made my life so much better. People need to stop assuming that just because you're married, you'd be a good family to raise a child. Of course it's generally better for a child to have two parents instead of one, but that doesn't mean that everyone is fit to raise a child, with or without another person. And the woman in the first story is NOT fit to raise anything, let alone a human being.
