When I used dating apps, I was very clear in my profiles that I was (and still am!) a prequels fan. I got a few guys who didn’t really get any of my references like that one dude in the video and I was like, eh, fine, maybe we could watch the movies on dates or something. But I was still disappointed. Cue my now-boo sending me a personalized version of the Darth Plagueis monologue based on his job as a musician/church organist. When I read it, I immediately thought, “This guy’s speaking my language! I gotta talk to him more!” It took us a while to get where we are now, but we’re about to celebrate our first anniversary, and we’re still huge Star Wars nerds :)
