Why do I feel like this is like a power point presentation? haha. Hope you guys enjoy this unique video. Leave a like if you want to see more videos like this because it took alot of time to bring this out, like a 2nd longest edits I did. I also had to write a whole script because Im not good at improvising. haha.

Awesome video mate, love it! How do you find switching to acro after spending a fair bit of time racing in angle? My acro skills are limited anyways but I've found it quite hard to get back into acro since dabbling in races on TWGO. Thumbs always want to do things they shouldn't.

@@barflyfpv4881 Very weird at first, but since I fly 5" as well and do quite ok with it, it took me a few batteries to get a hang of it. Once you master it, you can do almost any course. I dont know(yet) if Im going to use acro in long term cause Im more consistent on angle mode. Maybe with a little more stick time I can do the same in acro.

Good job with the video and information man. I am pretty new to FPV and found this useful. I dropped a sub for ya, stop by the channel sometime.
@pgabrieli3 жыл бұрын
as I always believed, you clearly show that real pilots can master all modes, and all the "angle teaches bad habits" is just bullshit. great flying, man, I wish I were a tenth as good as you! thanks for an excellent summary.
@jacobhobday111 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you man I enjoy both modes equally, different tools for different jobs. I think it's best to learn acro first outdoors though as I feel moving to angle afterwards is easier as opposed to vice versa.

i knew something was off after crashing in angle. now you confirmed it lol. The sticks are different trying to fly it straight

Hi RAB, really good video. Just a question... Could you please show us your RATES for ANGLE mod..?

Can we somehow let Tiny Whoop GO developers know about Racemode so that they could maybe implement it? Do you have any contacts? I'd love to see it in the sim, maybe as a paid addition. I'm a racemode pilot and in the sim am forced to fly in acro which is very different.
@El_Muffy4 ай бұрын
Angle mode is easier and faster, but u r a true pilot only in acro mode, anyway, what simulator is that one in the video?
@zenflight24502 жыл бұрын
All i wanna know is what woop are you using? :)

Just got into whooping... How come I can't arm in acro mode?

Hi Rab! Are you using the CrazybeeX? do I remember correctly? I have a couple CrazybeeX FC but flies awful in angle mode. Do you mind if I ask what tune are you using in angle mode? and which BF version? I'm quite dumb for PID settings. :| I hope you make more whoop racing videos. I try to learn from the best pilots. :) Another question... do you often change your strenght and limit settings depending on the track? I often feel that I have to use a different setting for each track. but I think it's not optimal for my muscle memory. how about you?

Can share pid and rates ?

How u go so freaking fast?
@rocketquad58883 жыл бұрын
Great flying! What kind of rates do you play with for acro? I'm at about 1.8 at the moment for p/r/y but still need some work keeping momentum.
@RABFPV3 жыл бұрын
1.8 is way too high. I use 1.0 rc rate and 0.58 super rate on roll and pitch, and for yaw I use 0.80 rc rate and 0.50 super rate. Rates are personal preference but thats what I use for acro, same goes for 5".
@rocketquad58883 жыл бұрын
Haha welp, I was at 1.0 .66 .01 for a bit and went up yet I fly better now with the tinyhawk?? Maybe I just have lazy thumbs... Thanks!

Very informative video. Do you know any top whoop pilots that fly acro? I thought that races are always won by angle pilots but I could be wrong :)
@RABFPV3 жыл бұрын
I know there are more, but pilots I can think of right now is Tdog and Yibo.
@bassbeats923 жыл бұрын
Im finding on my tiny whoop that I dont like using only yaw to steer on angle mode. Do you think it will make me adquire bad flying habits that will affect my acro on 3 inch?
@RABFPV3 жыл бұрын
You could do one of 2 things. You can flash emuflight and use their DAS(Dual axis steering) feature that makes you yaw when you apply roll, or you can apply roll/yaw mixing on your radio that pretty much does the same. Either way, you will end up using up a battery or 2 as a transition period.
@bassbeats923 жыл бұрын
@@RABFPV thank you :) Do you use any mixing yourself?
