Intense conversation and very honest. I loved it! Wish it was longer. My mind is delightfully exhausted.

Here's what i feel stuck on. Doesn't the Rambam say right in the first perek of Mishne Torah, that Hashem has no human qualities, including emotions, and all the pesukim are mesholim? Thats what gets me stuck. I want to believe Rav Manis. What a wonderful, empowering life experience that would be. But how can i ignore the Rambam?

Id like to know more about this 'malakh worship'. I wouldnt want to upset malakh Gavriel! Do some Jews / systems of 'Jewish' thought actually think / feel that way?

In a rare deep passionate pleading talk Rebbe once spoke to HaShem aloud, saying so to speak that God needs us pleading to God that he should have mercy on us. and not as a simple statement at all! the Rebbe added the word “Cvayochol” which means so to speak not to be taken literally! The Rebbe said tell everyone to get ready for moshiach. By adding acts of goodness and kindness. When did The Rebbe ever say? We have to tell everybody that “God needs you”? I never remember hearing that! The unbalanced emphasis on the God needs you idea I feel is unfair unbalanced and not as simple as Rabbi Manis makes it sound. What good is there in confusing? People are such a sensitive point this is far from a basic conversation. I don’t get the point you makes it sound simple when it’s very clearly not a simple subject.

I don't understand but returning as one When I see how the many suffer in mulita marriages Hashem is one and one Hashem is. I agree Pride is not affected. Do I kill it/lie about it and assume shipment.....lol Hashem teaches us beyond the outside. Inside I see the hearts and love. The torah teaches. Who is erasing it? Hasham will not for this is his footstool. The Creator never changes hearts of men do.
