On Sunday 4th March 2012, the Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks delivered the opening keynote address at the London School of Jewish Studies' Tanakh Day. Interviewed by Dr Rafi Zarum, the Chief Rabbi discussed his seven favourite verses in Tanakh, the reasons for his choice and the wider lessons that can be drawn from them. And because it was Desert Island Texts, the session also featured some examples of some of the Chief Rabbi's favourite musical pieces.

Great lecture teaching! If all humanity realized this thought the world would be a better place. Hatred against one another, either race, religion or culture, makes no difference. We are the Almighty' blessed is He, Creation. We as G-d Almighty creation need to recognize this great knowledge and should be able to worship, adore and glorify Him, as G-d Supreme of all the universe creation. Until that day comes, that man recognizes this thought and come to him humbly, accepting him as a Father, Creator, and Loving relative, peace will not be amongst the nations. The unity of our thoughts and devotion to the Most High G-d is the answer to all our coming changes in the world. If only we accept this reality, and stop trying to be gods in the world, we will bring a great change into the world for the good and well being of all humanity.
