ESPN praises Lamar and trashes Brock Purdy, the ESPN producers must send a memo to all these propaganda ESPN employees telling them to convince the fans that Lamar Jackson is the Only Choice for the NFL MVP award... I have never seen a NFL QB get so much praise for so little production... Lol
@mikez66839 ай бұрын
Taking off and running every now and then makes sense especially in the playoffs with good defenses. QB’s who run all the time just shows that they can’t play the QB position. Hopefully Purdy doesn’t make a habit of taking off all the time. No one wants to watch pros play at a HS level.

Thank you for saying the quiet part out loud. Have been thinking this was the issue for a while now. I truly believe that is why we traded 3 first rounders for Trey bust. All offseason (after Brock played incredibly the last half of the season) this huge chunk of the fanbase was saying Brock sucked and Lance was being treated unfairly. Lance would go out there, suck, and they’d make every excuse for him. Since they love the team first and foremost they can’t help but to cheer for Brock and you don’t hear much criticism. But when he has a bad game or two they are right back with the pundits questioning him. I cheer for him on every offensive position (at the Niners hang out I go to) because the ball obviously rolls through his hands, he’s making big plays, and makes all of our stars better. Everyone chants every players name except Brocks.

Dan thanks for bringing this up, Lamar is the most Over rated QB in NFL history ! The NFL should remove the MVP award and rename it the (DEI award) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Their gonna give Lamar Jackson the MVP when He's 15th in the NFL in passing yards and 11th in TD's ...let me add that he has a 2-4 record in the post season...so far the last 2 months you never ever heard ESPN mention anytime that Mcaffery or Purdy are MVP candidates...Brock Purdy is (5-1 record) in the playoffs with a 62.7 completion % 1088 passing yards 5 pass TDs - 1 INT , 101.0 passer rating and 86 rush yards! Lamar has played 6 seasons in the NFL and Purdy has played in 27 NFL games .. lol Lol

I agree Lamar doesn't deserve the MVP, however, his playoff performance has no bearing on the MVP vote. It's strictly a regular season award.

Lamar jackson is a runner, not a passer. The qb position requires a qb to be a good passer. Look at all the running qbs of the recent past. Where are they? Oh yeah, they aren't in the league anymore.

Us realists have been saying it all year: CMC is the REAL MVP of the National Football League. No QB put up elite numbers this year, but the sports media decided that this needed to be a QB award, and because Lamar beat Brock in week 13- damn the season stats- the MVP HAD TO BE LAMAR.

Women’s sports are getting a little more popular but I’m not sure how much is the product. Obviously right now there are 2 generational players in college BB and the college game is a better product due to the college atmosphere but the WNBA is still a joke. The disproportionate media promotion of women’s sports seems to far exceed the demand for attendance and TV ratings too. Many sports sites are surreptitiously placing women’s scores, recaps and stories among other headlines without indicating it’s about women. As soon as Im suckered into clicking on one I realize the mistake and leave immediately. Demand should determine where and how many stories are headlined not covertly force fed to us by the bucket full.

You are speaking true facts, because this is all about race you putting down a young man that was drafted last week of the draft. The reason why I’m asking because if that was Trey Lance The sky is gonna fall. I still love the young man, but unfortunately that he couldn’t run the Kyle Shanahan offense is that, but I hope he future will be better and I will always Big fan of Trey Lance. Put the end of the day it’s about character not about the skin color.

Another great video Dan and thank you for expressing your thoughts. I believe Lamar Jackson will be successful and be a champion in the NFL (and I am not a Baltimore Ravens fan except when their opponent is the Pittsburgh Steelers), but currently Lamar's talent is overrated. Before the playoffs began, I picked the Ravens to not make the Super Bowl and that is what happened.
