Why do we love going to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride(DGR) every year?
My best answer is: To see beautiful, ugly, interesting, rare, different, unique, vulgar, or original motorcycles,
This video represents my perspective about what i felt, during the 2023 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride at the city of Oporto, in the North of Portugal.
My special thanks to the organization(Ton-Up Garage), for making this lovely event possible.
All the video footage came from an GoPro 4 Silver action cam, and also from a Google Pixel 6 Pro Smarphone.

As a long time Beemer rider with both a 1984 airhead and a R9T in the garage the sight of a R100RS fairing on a newer boxer made me perk up with interest. These events raise the desire to ride for the simple fact of completing kilometers and more kilometers. I had to work last night to complete an important work issue. I left the office at one in the morning, as it is close to my house I walked. Suddenly a group of young motorcyclists passed through the main avenue of my city with small cylinder motorcycles in the cafe racer style. Wow! It was one in the morning and there were people doing one of the most interesting activities: ride at night for the simple pleasure of riding. It was a unique moment. I notice that the motorcade in DGR in Porto did not pass by the side of the river in the area of bridges. There was no beer and Porto fast food: francesinhas. There were, however, very interesting motorcycles. On Sunday the 11th with those who show up at the meeting point I will go to San Luis Potosi via Sierra about 179 kilometers between landscapes of llanuras full of cacti and curved roads Saludos

Hi. Thanks, I have been working on the design of the side covers during the last weeks, and I think I finally "hit the jackpot". It is now more beautiful than ever. Very classic, simple, loads of personality, and extremely elegant. But there is more. I finally found the perfect Builder to make it happen. I can no longer trust on Leonel's promises. I am very disappointed with him. I still haven't contacted the new builder, but I am sure he will be extremely interested on building my XS Project. Thank you for asking. :) Cheers.

Bonitas motos o problema é que em principio em Janeiro de 2024 vamos mais uma vez mais um roubo autorizado pelo estado é o que chamam de inspeção obrigatória sim obrigatória é obrigado a pagar mais um serviço supérfluo ,sempre para o bem das pessoas 😤😡, a luta contra estes roubos autorizados deve ser a prioridade dos povos .

I was very disappointed with the DGR in Athens. Very poorly organized. Firstly, they delayed the ride for a week because of elections then they left 30 minutes early! leaving multiple participants behind, and then finally switched the ride route without any notice or update on the site and SM. Absolutely awful.
