Körv för hela slanten. På onsdag blir det test av däck och shift support i enfurospåren, skulle dock behöva hjälmlampa 🫣. Träningen börjar 17, så lär bara bli en snutt

I have had one for 9 months and I think it may help during an impact to the shifting rod

In case of a crash, now you can break not just the shift shaft, but also a couple of side engine bolts! Epic.

Did you inow that according to studies, when people were asked to tighten something to a given torque, the vast majority of times (about 92%, if I remember correctly) people over torqued the bolt. And that was true regardless how how experienced the person was. From DIY weekend mechanic to professional and seasoned mechanics. And the problem is accumulative. See when you torque a bolt to whatever spec the manufacture gives, you put the bolt under tension. The bolt slightly stretches and generates enough fiction between the bolt threats and the threads of the nut or whatever the bolt is being screwed into, to prevent it from loosing up, among other reasons. After a kittke while, the metal in the bolt "relaxes," one of the reason some mechanics and in some extremely crucial installations, the tech has to ways some time and then check the torque again. One of the problems with over torquing is that you over stretch the bolt. Not a big deal unless you over torque way too much. Then you can snap bolts or strip the threads. But repetitive stretching from removals, eventually can cause the bolt to fail. Similar to an elastic after it has been over stretched over and over. I am way over simplifying to may it easier to understand. I could get into what happens to the metal down to the molecular level. But ai'll leave it as it is. Sadly, most people have no understanding about the science behind it, and they'll argue with you as if they were experts. 🤦‍♀ Hay chihuahua! Yeah, they'll arque that they have never used a torque wrench in their lives and they have never caused a bolt to fail. Hmm, the maker of Helicoil will agree (wink wink) and laugh... laugh all the way to the bank. Thanks mainly to those who never use torque wrenches or never have they torque wrenches calibrated. Using cheap torque wrenches doesn't help either. Oh well, to each their own.

Gear shifting improved on my T7 after changing engine oil to MOTUL 5100 10W-40. This part now looks like Version 2.0 💙💛🏁🤛🏼 BTW vendor website says 6.4 Nm torque for the bolts and regrease every 5.000 km.

Yea I heard oil change aided for those that had issues. I try to have an eye on the little oil level window, as long as it’s semi clear it’s 👌. When it starts getting dark brown I replace it. We will see how the shift support feels on my Wednesday enduro practice 🤪, will be nice to test the Tracker tires and Racetorx in the mud

For sure, but Not really needed for the T7 maybe. Other bikes/brands have more issues where this gadget helps a lot more. But still, you do feel a better and crisp gear change (in my mind)

Hey Marcus...looking forward to your long term evaluation, particularly during your trail riding 😀How long before the snow comes? We have had the driest, hottest Sept/Oct on record in Vancouver Canada

Heeey Mike! I think we will see snow anytime in November, so not a lot of rides left. Going out on Wednesday for probably the last enduro training this year. But I will most likely be able to join some sort of gravel group ride too.
