Garlic is a common ingredient in Philippine cuisine, so he used that name. I just found out recentlt that garlic is also bawang in Bahasa Indonesia.

@@bobbyalexanderdatingaling yes, we have many bawangs here, bawang merah for shallot, bawang putih for garlic, bawang bombay for onion and bawang daun for spring onion/leek

@@athenachi8999 That's so interesting! In another local language in the Philippines, we call onions sibuyas bombay, and we call green onions sibuyas dahon. Daun is similar to dahon, which means leaf for us, too.

I will start again or find some other inspiration, because that seems to be how life works. I hope, I get lost, I find my way, then the path disappears again, and I just have to keep looking. Success and happiness come in small pieces, surrounded by struggle and plenty of failure. Accepting that and moving forward may get me to a good place again… I hope…❤️
