This way of making music so far from away my method of sitting down with a guitar and writing a song, it's crazy. But to deny the musicality or creativity would be insane. Very well done and very inspired!! Respect from this old dude in New York!!
@komalthecoolk4 жыл бұрын
It's still the same. She has to still "make" the music similar to writing it, split it into loops and then play that live.
@lyletexas93343 жыл бұрын
Music isn't based on electronics and to sugar coat the voice,and all else. It's about the heart and soul, unplugged acoustic is my fave... Real musicians need nothing to help them audibly... It's true Musicianship to move others In a good way.. Inspiration.heart and soul.

I disliked it; watching someone twiddling on a 707 doesn't impress me; anyone can do that, even someone who can't play shit on a keyboard, and can she play a proper keyboard? Does she have any keyboard qualifications? You can play a 707 with two fingers. So here's the middle finger of both my hands to you, boyo. I must add that she sings well,

mel obrien I have to agree with you, there really isn’t a great deal happening; just her singing over a boring bass line with loads of textures thrown over the top to hide her lack of musicality! I have seen her play keys in other videos of hers but it’s pretty basic stuff.

Each to their own, not my sort of music, but best of luck to her. I was reminded of about ten years ago, I gave my nephew a CD to listen to, he thought it was fantastic and made copies for his mates. I eventually told him it was me, his 60 year old uncle. It took me 10 mins to make, with a korg synthesiser and Alesis drum machine. He was not happy.

Well, all the pads have diatonic chords, so you hit whatever and it sounds ok. Then it's ease at the price of creativity of course, since you fall in the I-III-VI or I-IV-V-VI cliché like she just did.

I wouldn't pay to see this live. Sorry to be negative ... but tools like this are killing bands... musicians are losing the ability to work in harmony due to all the tools like this that "create" harmony for them. The whole point of playing music is that it's a collective group experience and is made better by the contributions of others. Now a busker on the street can strum one chord, hum one note, and play one beat and suddenly they're being praised as genius...I would have loved to have seen how that gorgeous Rickenbacker behind her could get worked into what she was doing...this music is too much head in the clouds not enough feet on the ground...
