I havent seen my friends I think since about March - I'm so over staying home. I'm also building a house, so I cant go see the process, and I cant go and get things ready for the house for when its ready. Its a really bad time in Melbourne at the moment. :(

When i had a lot of breakouts and pigmentation a couple of years ago, i found that using vitamin C products really helped lighten the pigmentation. I used different types of serums etc but found The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% to work really well. I have really sensitive eczema skin and it did sting a bit when you first apply it each time after cleansing. I found moisturising a lot also helped my skin. If you do use vitamin c you 100% need sunscreen to product your skin since it is quite concentrated

azaleic acid is the best for scarring/red marks on your cheeks - i swear by it. You can get a tube of Azclear from chemist warehouse for like $15. It's pretty thick so I use it at night about three times a week, after cleansing and before moisturising. It's a game changer!!!

You asked about recommendations regarding acne scars. My skin looked _precisely_ like yours when I had my share of hormonal acne. And after the active acne situation went away, I had the same scars you have now. It's like looking in the mirror. That is why I assume your skin will develope as mine did, which is that within a couple years the red scars will eventually fade away completely BUT the skin "sinks" in those places where there used to be a scar. So you have very small "craters" in your skin. Honestly I'd take these small craters any day instead of the visible red scars. I have had a lot of microneedling appointments to even out the skin texture, but it doesn't do anything. I think what makes ppl think it works, is because your skin feels much tighter for about a week, but then it normalizes. But it's ok. Acne gone, pain gone, red scars gone, I'll wear these craters with pride. My war scars. And don't be alarmed, the "craters" aren't visible even to ppl close by. You have to look in a certain angle in the mirror for the light to hit the cheeks and really show the uneven texture.

I was in the same boat as you are with what I thought was scaring. It turns out it was acne underneath the skin. My dermotolgist gave me a cream and it worked so well to get rid of it. Idk if that's what you have, but I would defiantly see a dermatologist to find out what exactly it is. Love you and your videos!❤
@dibasaleh31434 жыл бұрын
Retinoids can be applied all over face to help with acne, pigmentations and skin texture as well as aging prevention. They’re usually prescribed by dermatologists. Micro needling or chemical peels are the only things that really help with acne scarring. I work at a dermatologist so that’s we recommend.

For scarring especially I cannot more highly recommend the entire eco by Sonya driver line. All of her products are vegan, natural and cruelty free. The best product she has is called ‘glory oil’ and it is the most amazing skincare product I’ve ever used. You should go to her website and look through the before and after photos because it has helped with scarring, stretch marks, pigmentation, cystic acne etc etc. also just a tip for skincare in general, a lot of drug store products are a bit icky to use for your skin e.g neutrogena, st ives scrubs etc. A lot of them have fragrance, parfum, alcohol etc etc which are horrific for skin. When purchasing skincare products you should ALWAYS go through the ingredients list on the back of products and research each one because they have so many hidden nasties in them. But yes 1000% recommend eco tan by Sonya driver + glory oil xxx
