I have so much respect for how they played Paula's storyline this season, especially when it came to her having an abortion for the sake of her legal career. It's a very real situation that can often make the pregnant mother look bad.
@ss756913 жыл бұрын
I am a mother who has already had one child. I became pregnant seven months after I had her. I was making plans to return to school. Plus, we were living in poverty with little to no security. It was a very real decision we had to make and I don’t regret it. My daughter deserves her mother and I deserve to have an education.
@georgearaujo-haller88352 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s such amazing representation to show a married woman who already has kids getting an abortion because we rlly only see single women getting them on tv if at all.
@sallyjrwjrw6766 Жыл бұрын
@@georgearaujo-haller8835 yes, typically Hollywood has middle-aged women get unexpectedly pregnant and then keep the baby when you know most would just get an abortion. Not because it's flippant but because it's practical and by 40 most women are more practical.

I always thought this was a broad parody of a Disney number, so I can't believe I just realised that this is a direct parody of "I Wonder" from Sleeping Beauty. It is all there in the staging, the outfit, the hair, the "animals", the theme of the song and the operetta singing voice.
