keep your dads...it helps when you miss him the most. I lost my dad the day after my 18th birthday..I am now just 70....believe me...I'll miss him until I'm gone.

Here is something I always wanted to tell you: You are so independent from everyone and while it does seem like you talk to your loved ones on a weekly basis, I always admire how much time you actually safe for yourself, taking care of yoursef and developing your lifestyle. So whenever I watch your videos I'm always inspired by how much you are your own person, so thank you so much for that! Whenever I feel like my confidence is low or like I depend too much on my friends and family, your videos always make me feel better and I just wanted to say thank you for giving me that motivation to find myself.

I just wanted to share a thought I had while making this video. I like to make sure my videos have little organisation &/or motivational tips included in them. I think it's important for videos to have substance otherwise they are boring. If you make videos think about what you can offer in your videos (education &/or entertainment). With that being said, sometimes videos don't always go to plan and end up being a little "oh hey this is me and I cleaned my kitchen today" or something really mundane and unhelpful or even just a me me me show. Anyway I feel like todays video was leaning more to the boring side of things and for that I apologise. Just wanted to let you know I am aware and I do try to make a conscious effort to include tips or information that are actually helpful

The combination of tips/information in your videos interspersed with your everyday life is what makes your videos so appealing. Your channel is the main one I look out for each week (and I follow heaps)... I'm at a much older stage in life to you, but truly you have a special unique quality about you thats very endearing and appealing. If I could adopt you as my daughter, I would (haha). Know that you make a difference to people's lives, however small you think that may be! Blessings and love xxx

Always love your "productive day" videos. Even though you say you didn't see that much substance in this video, I think you shared the important message that it's okay to take time for yourself, treat yourself and just chill, watch a video and don't feel like it's wrong. I think a lot of people (myself included) tend to forget about that and feel guilty for not always being the most productive person in the world. This video helped me realize that it's actually fine to be just watching a video (as long as you aren't binging random videos purely to procrastinate).

Hurray for not having a car! I also made the switch years ago and don’t regret it. Takes a bit of planning (mostly during canadian winter!) but it’s such a great way to save money, walk more and save the environment. For groceries I got a Rolser caddie and I couldn’t live without it. A bit expensive (100$ here in Canada) but so practical and sturdy! xx

Bring a backpack when you're going to get heavy items, and use the bags for everything else. It will be a lot easier. I live in Boston and we walk everywhere, though we do have a car so my husband can drive to his work in a nearby town. Also, not sure what the winters are like there, but Yaktracks make walking in winter so much easier if there is snow/ice and you HAVE to make a grocery run.

I love how youre trying to be more active and have a change without a car but I live in melbourne and what are you going to do in winter, when it's pouring down etc??
@rachelleea6 жыл бұрын
I'll do the same as what I do now when it rains which is just use an umbrella or uber or order in my groceries. As for the cold I'll just wear lots of cloths to keep warm, I walk to the MCG for the footy all the time in winter anyway :)

So cool that you don't own a car anymore! I never understood why so many people living in cities own cars. As soon as I started studying (and moving to bigger cities) I sold my car. It's not only better for you and your health (and finances) but also for the environment, which is always a great thing ❤️

If I didn't own a car it would take me 2 hours to get to work because the public transit system where I live is awful and not realistic for most. I do however have an old cheap car that just gets me from A to B. Plus in -35 I'm not trying to be outside for more than 2 minutes lol
@rachelleea6 жыл бұрын
@@LatinaSweetie44 oh so true, as I said I'm from the country so I know for a lot of people its not realistic as I was, for most of my life, one of those people so I feel you :) And definitely, you don't want to be outside in that, don't get sick :)

Hi Rachel. Been watching your videos for a while, I really like them. Always nice to see successful Aussie KZbinrs. Was just wondering have you ever tried, or considered trying, to go "plastic free?" Or tried reducing waste? I understand with being a lifestyle design/fashion and home decor themed KZbinr you're having to refresh parts of your home and style for content but I always just see so much plastic waste from things bought. And it does tie into your theme of being someone who declutters regularly. It seems to be a theme amongst KZbinrs who are known for their declutter, or minimalism, type videos. I can see so much potential for you to be able to Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose or Recycle so much of what you have or buy. For example so many of the vases and decorative pieces for your home are going back to the old antique style. I'm sure rather than buying all of them new you could've gone antique hunting and found almost the exact same pieces. It could become like a video theme of going antique shopping. I know the appeal of having brand new and being able to find everything all at once to get your home set up is so convenient and lovely. I just feel that it is important that people start to realise just how much waste individuals produce and the impact it's having on the environment, case in point the extreme weather we're having in Australia can't be just a coincidence. It's just a thought that I've been having for a while whilst watching your videos.
