Racing the World's Best 250cc 2 Stroke vs AMA Legend!

We go racing on our Brand New, Box Fresh 2006 Suzuki RM250 2 Stroke....we must be crazy!
We bought this unicorn of a dream bike at the start of the summer with the goal of racing it here at the iconic Farleigh Castle for the 2024 edition of the Farleigh Castle Vets MX event. We knew all along that we'd be devaluing our investment, but at the end of the day this machine was born to be raced! Sean will be lining up next to some legendary names from the dirt bike world (both MXGP and AMA) and he'll be going bar to bar with some of the best two stroke motocross racers in all the land. Hold on to your hats, this is a wild one! :-)

Fantastic that it may be worth doing some laps at your favoured track with Sean with the old tyres then swap em out for new ones a compare the times! Rubber does change so much with age, an in recent years it’s got more sketchy, I use to ride road motorcycles with fifty year old tyres an it’d be ok in dry treacherous in the wet.road racers don’t try rideing on period Dunlop triangulars unless you’re life lacks excitement. I bet them knobbles were just rolling over. Kudos for racing the RM. Cheers

I had RM 125 X works bike made but Suzuki Australia in Melbourne Australia it was insane I could and did Run it in Open Class and keep it at the pointy end of race's ❤

Dirt bike tire knobbies penetrate loose soil to grip firm soil underneath. And the carcass needs to be able to flex to form around irregularities. A lot more happening than just paddling loose dirt.
