How tight is that collar screwed in? I'm trying to loosen the collar but it won't budge. I'm turning it clockwise and have removed the ball. It's so tight that I'm using a breaker bar welded to my special tool.

Try to change directions just to make it move. Also heating is allowed. Sometimes it knows to be really stuck.

Is this better than stage 4 or do u need both? My car is 09 bmw m6 v10 smgb with m differential

I wanted to know if you need a stop for the locking ring of the differential having removed the original ball or just tighten@@RacingDiffs

No locking is needed, but we advise to use thread locker (screw adhesive)

Can you confirm how many clutch discs there should be. I received my kit but it only has 5 clutches and 6 dog plates, may I have been sent the pack for the V1 by mistake? In the video I counted 6 clutches

That is the correct amount . 5 clutches, 6 outer plates, 1 preload shim and 1 free play delete shim.

@@RacingDiffs thanks for confirming. I think I have an issue with my kit though. My car is a Z4M, and on the pinion gear it uses a tapered roller bearing, I received double ball bearings. What can we do?

@@mpineda6 actually it doesn't make any difference. I would put it on top next to preload shim.👍🏻
