koliki je vijek trajajna i interval izmjene ulja u mjenjacu ?
@RacingDiffs11 күн бұрын

@RacingDiffs16 күн бұрын
If you don't have the whining noise on the straight line, then your bearings can push more. They usually hold up to 120k km. Anyways, you need V2 clutch pack. The same one as E92 M3. I absolutely love limited slip differentials, and had one on my last car but now I don’t with my 135i. really miss it. (they also help you get better traction if you ever happen to be on some gravel or some snow. humorously I was able to get one from my wife’s Jeep really easy but it’s a fortune for a manual E 88.) Once the back end breaks loose though it is quicker then an open diff so you have to learn the feel of it.

Is cutting them like this actually okay?? What if I cant get it exactly flat or smooth?? Will the clutches not engage properly?? Should I try this myself or send them to the machine shop??
@RacingDiffs25 күн бұрын
If you have doubts, better send them to a machine shop. If you use grinder regularly, like every day, then you'll find this rather easy.
@grownman88025 күн бұрын
@RacingDiffs Is there a margain of error? What if I dont cut enough or cut to much? Will it still work fine?
@RacingDiffs25 күн бұрын
It's better to cut a bit more than a bit less. Flange shouldn't touch a friction plate.

@@RacingDiffs What is the service life of the friction plates? Do you sell the friction plates seperately?

The diff in the video is that a 1.5 way setup or a 2 way? Which would be better for a daily driver that I still want to drift at the track?
@RacingDiffsАй бұрын
If you prefer a more reactive response on lift off, then go for 1.5 way. Meaning that your car will straighten much faster when stepping off the throttle. We personally prefer this setup. 2 way setup will leave some space for inertia to kick in. When you lift off, the car will keep sliding for 2-3m, leaving you some time to react.
