Still not sure of what was supposed to happen those 14 years of my life... I mean there was a lot of cookouts, and I got to ride in some nice cars, and I made a ton of friends... Hell to this day I still get invited to come hang out... One of my best friends is black, His grandmother adores me and every time we talk he's always going on about she's always asking about me and seeing how I'm doing... Oh wait I get it now, he was just saying that to try and make up a point to make himself look better... So sad man, It's not about the color, It's about who you are.
@ruanb12682 жыл бұрын
Who you are matters but the experience of taking classes with a bunch of blacks or working in an environment with a bunch of blacks is different than in all white areas or Asian areas. I acted like race didnt matter like I was taught to but a lot of them caused issues not all of them . Youre more likely to come across bad individuals in those situations. when we were young it wasnt as bad its worse when we get older after they are taught by Hollywood , media, and school boards that the white man is the devil and privileged. Sometimes we had to suffer for what other white people supposedly did in the past. A lot of eminem type of white people like you in ghetto sitations take street drugs or are put on meds due for being depressed so you can becone less aware.. The ones who dont take drugs try to find a way out of those environments once they realize the grass is greener elsewhere and when they can move. Individuallity from experiences and teaching matters too but also your genetics gives you behavior traits too. sure you can try to act like one of them and please everyone to act like the good white guy and win some of them over but thats a stressful life and will cost you. I was hussled a lot, experienced way more theft and assault in those situations. You wanna act like that culture is fine you go ahead and pretend you are eminem but he makes millions of dollars doing it. I'm done pretending I'm glad I moved. Its less stress avoiding ghetto areas. As for the rude comment guy he could have meant if youre complaining about usa you didnt have to come. This father is worried about a few comments being made to his kid. If those were white kids, they soon will be taught white guilt. They can get punished for rude behavior and will stop. But instead lets announce racism on the news,and teach minorites,that white man is bad. The Mexican kids will be ok because they hate their own culture in mexico but get to live in usa. You can discipline kids with rude comments. This man just wanted to know,if you cant stand racism why come to a country with different races but he did it the wrong way. Media sponsors want to,encourage a race war,and,demonize whites only. Non white areas will,have hateful people too just like some white neighborhoods you might hear hate words. But nope its all the white mans fault that diversity cones with issues since the media said so.

What it seems to me is that when someone say there’s black oppression and racism in this country. You bring up Oprah and Lebron James being black people that have wealth. But no one is talking about the 1% in power and wealth. I’m talking about the people as a whole. Although racism against white people does exist, that doesn't make it okay for them to be racist. Honestly if you need to compare other bad things to make yourself look less bad then you're probably a horrible person. Just because someone hit me doesn't mean I have the right to hit you. It means that the person who hit me was wrong. Having a bad experience doesn't automatically give you the right to make someone else's experience bad. Also, if you're white and haven't done racist things, going through a black neighborhood, usually won't be a challenge(not saying that bad things don't happen but they don't happen as much as he makes it seem).

To those commenting: From years 11-13, I was sexually harassed, assaulted, and molested by my best friend's uncle, Bill, a middle-aged white man. I reported him but he never faced serious consequences. At 13, I was drugged by my friend's white dad, Diego, at all-children's back-from-summer pool party and woke up with him throwing me in his bed and fondling me. At 19, after moving to Florida, I was 18 and raped by a 22yr old white man who invited me and all my girlfriends and his friends over to his house to watch Friends and play board games. I got married at 20 to a white man who was kind, then turned abusive 5 years into our marriage and when I began speaking out about it, I was once again shamed by older men, asking me what I did to provoke it. And I'm POSITIVE all of you assholes will victim-shame me, both as a child and now, I'm prepared for it. Doesn't matter that I was a child. That I reported these incidences. That I didn't do anything wrong. That I got out. That misogyny still exists. And you won't care that when my ex-husband abused me, several times I ran to my black neighbors who then protected me. That several times at the movies or Walmart when accosted in stores for just being a white woman and I run to POC or women, they help me and white men say "but she's beautiful and I was just..." NO. IN MY EXPERIENCE, as I said, POC and women respond. I won't take it back. It is a fact.

The guy talking about being white and walking in to a black neighborhood. Why is there even black neighborhoods to begin with. Black neighborhoods are the impoverished neighborhoods 99% of the time and that is because of the attitudes of American people when it comes to the races. If I was feeding my kids rice n beans living in a house with no front door and sleeping on a mattress because every business or employment opportunity always fell through because of the prejudice put upon me I'd be mad at the people who were oppressing me. It's not right to generalise everyone but it's hard to see past it when you've never had a positive experience with someone of that race. And this segregation between races creates a tension that causes that exact problem about experiences with certain races being negative all the time. Divide and conquer eh. If the government really cared they would do something drastic to bring everyone together in order that everyone could become familiar with one another and it would alleviate poverty and reduce crime. Nothing is as complicated as it seems ever. There are very simple solutions to every world problem. But human nature is greedy and greedy causes corruption, war, propaganda, racism, homophobia, hate. It all comes down to greed. Every single problem.
